Yeah, but he already has a successful channel with Dan and Phil, books and whatever else. I liken him to Kalel who still has lots of subscribers but is so erratic with her postings, and so unplanned she tends to lose more subscribers than gains. I can see (channel wise) Josh going the same way.

I guess I've always kind of felt like I'm not paying for YouTube so I just watch videos as they're posted and don't really pay attention to whether they're posted regularly or not, but I do get bummed out when the people I watch don't post when I think they're going to. I understand why people would unsub if things aren't consistent.
I guess I'm also sort of bracing myself for Josh to quit YouTube (that sounds dramatic, it's not actually impacting my life, haha). I think he is torn right now because YouTube is what he's done for so long and he has opportunities with it that he wouldn't have otherwise but it also represents Colleen and that part of his life AND he's being bullied, judged and harassed by kids who think they're his boss or that he owes them something. I can just see him being sort of over it and maybe trying to phase out.

I want to clarify that I am most frustrated with Josh saying he is going to do things and then not doing them like vlogging with his brother, vlogging in New York, etc. He needs to stop telling his viewers he is definitely going to do something and then not doing it.

So I'm only 27 but I'm pretty sure break outs happen based on what you eat and what not? I found when I eat crap I break out more. And hmmm maybe eating a baked potato for dinner I know would break out my face lol.

Is Colleen pretending to be all alone, like she did during cabingate, or is she really alone? There is a part of me that still thinks she is setting up an "alone" timeline so it will look like time has passed between Josh and Erik.

If it's real loneliness, good!! It could be she is stuck doing Errrrrmygeerrrrd editing on her show and seeing Erik looking all cute on a boat back in LA. And, wondering if he is cheating on her, Colleen, like he did his pretty ex girlfriend. It's fun being a cheater, isn't it Colleen?

Everything she is doing in her life is causing her breakouts... Being too skinny, eating like shit, not sleeping, no water, not cleaning herself. Her hormones are probably super screwed up because of all that stuff.

I hate to agree with Colleen  on anything, but I eat baked potatoes for dinner too. I buy the ones wrapped in cellophane that you pop in the microwave for 10 minutes. So easy and good.

None of those things worked out because he half-assed all of them. Same thing with his post-Colleen projects. We always talk about how they probably broke up because Colleen wasn't as into the relationship, emotionally-speaking, as he wanted. But I also think his lack of ambition had something to do with it; Colleen wanted an equal. Someone who was working as hard as she was. She may not have wanted to be the breadwinner while her husband vlogged while walking his dog once a month. I can see there being some resentment on her part about that kind of stuff. He doesn't put any effort into anything he does. Or he'll put effort into the first video, then decide it's too much work and go back to vlogging about nothing. 

Also, I don't care if he only posts once a week or once a month. I follow several youtubers who have erratic posting schedules, but they don't promise new videos every day or every week. When you tell your followers that you're going to do something, and you don't do it, you look lazy. Especially if it happens as consistently as it does with Josh. As someone else said, it's just disrespectful to his fans.

Not gonna lie, my mouth watered at her potato. It looked so creamy and cheesy and yummy. I've never added broccoli, but it looked good. Just add some bacon and it'd be perf.

 I sort of feel like she's not as "alone" as she says she is - if her and Erik are dating, I would bet he comes to visit (if he doesn't have another project he's working on).   I tend to believe that the more she harps on something (like being happy, happy, happy or being so alone and lonely) the less likely that what she's saying is true, if that makes any sense at all.

All I'm saying is...he's human. I don't know how he could have made you guys happy, honestly. If he didn't talk about it, you'd all be judging him for staying silent like Colleen, but when he does talk about it, he's a big baby who needs to move on.

The difference between normal people and Josh is that normal people don't have their entire relationship and divorce online for everyone to speculate about (and yes, that was their fault 100%, but still). If they did, they'd probably have public breakdowns, too.

I'm all for calling out people on their shit, but I for one am still giving Josh a pass right now. I think once his music videos come out and he gets that shit off his chest, we might be seeing more regular content from him. But honestly, it might be best if he just decides to try something other than YouTube or to take some time away and plan out what he really wants to do and commit to that.

Edit to add: I wholeheartedly agree with everyone saying this shit wouldn't fly for a regular job. No, it wouldn't. But he doesn't have a regular job so he gets to do whatever he wants. Despite what we all think, he's got money, enough for all these trips and an LA house by himself. Fact is, if you've got the money you can be as lazy as you want.

How much closure does he need? It's been almost a year. He has the luxury of having money and can do what he wants yet he still can't find closure? Yes, the Minions are horrible to him, and he doesn't deserve what they say to him, but he could attempt to block them or not interact with them. He didn't mind interacting with them when he was married and more importantly,brought views to his channel. He's always going to have memories of Colleen, because this was his first marriage. I feel like he is starting to wallow in self pity. 
I don't know if anyone thinks he's a big baby, (at least I don't) but Colleen wasn't just silent about her divorce, she acted like she was never married after the divorce, she acted manically happy in her videos since the divorce. Unless I missed it, has she ever made a video after the divorce that had anything to do with any sad feelings she had due to the divorce?

All people want is to follow up on the content he says he's going to deliver.

A bit OT but it really surprises me that Jenna has brought up Colleen and /or Miranda Sings at least twice since the divorce. Also, I am sure Julien was talking about Colleen when he started talking about how ppl will use other ppl for their own gain. He mentioned how Jenna is too nice and will agree to things even when she doesn't want to. I thought of Colleen and Jenna's super awkward collab they did.

When successful Youtubers get asked how to be a success, they almost always say be yourself and consistency. Josh's real success on YT came when he was posting every day. Matt Slays seems to be experiencing this now.

I see both sides of the divorce thing. Something I learned about tragedy and life, soul crushes is, dwell for a bit, then keep going. Clinical depression is totally different and people are physically unable to function. If that is Josh, sounds like his therapist might be on top of that.

Maybe Josh is afraid his channel won't get views without him being ? Maybe I'm a weirdo, but I like the "boring" daily vlogs. I like seeing what they eat for dinner and shopping at the mall. I think Josh is floating some career balloons to see what works. But, in the meantime, his unfulfilled promises are turning people away from his channel.

Go explore Vancouver and show your Dad something other than the editing room and your apartment! He came to visit you not watch tv!

My feelings exactly, I think she's too much of a homebody and too afraid of taking risks and trying new things for them to be compatible. She doesn't even like to go places with bad cell reception, I can't picture her roughin it out in the woods

Well she said her dad came because he wanted to see how the editing process worked and she tried to talk him out of it but he still wanted to and he confirmed that himself in the vlog so I know she wasnt lying. But what got me mad is he told her "you were doing so good!"....she's not even editing?!? She's giving tips for the editor it looks like...she ain't doing squat!

I agree it is very annoying that Josh hasn't posted a video in 4 days. I know if he was in LA he might not have had much to vlog about but he's been in NYC and has obviously been doing stuff hence the reason he went there. I was expecting a vlog every day or at least every other day while he was there. It could've even been a one take so that he didn't have to edit much while there. It's just really annoying when he makes it seem like he's going to post and then he doesn't because it's becoming a common thing.

I think and hope that the romance with Erik was on set, and in the afterglow of filming and the release, reality set in and she realize she threw away Josh for a crush and infatuation. When reality sets in, Erik will probably realize first Colleen isn't a good match.

He will move on, because he is probably sane. Colleen will never find another Josh.

She is sounding desperate in her vlogs. I'm 80/20. Eighty percent of me thinks the lonely is a timeline act. The 20% of me is filled with joy thinking Colleen is filled with regret.

He's been a little more active on IG lately...still hasn't liked any of toeleen's photos.
Please please let him have dumped her ass!!

Also, if he actually had a project or a job he could throw himself into instead of just wallowing his sadness and overthinking everything all the time, he'd probably get through this much faster. But he's made his "job" all about the divorce and exploring his emotions. Which is great, but if that's all your life is about, then you're not going to get over it.
