Jesus ratchet don't know what to say to that. Jobs come and go but I do hope your health is ok. Good luck with the biopsy and job hunting. Did you get a decent redundancy package? Nope I got nothing except a couple weeks heads up and my insurance carried through the end of May. Everything else I have to handle through unemployment. Shit that you can get laid off without redundancy. |

Tiredness.
I keep going to bed feeling tired then about half hour later I catch my 2nd wind and wake up ready to do a half marathon. Progressively getting worse over the last few weeks. Have I caught menstrual stuff from hanging around you ladies for too long?

This isn't as vent-y but since I'd posted it here, had a job interview yesterday that I feel pretty good about. I'm not quite up to snuff yet but I wore a scarf in June to cover my incision and made the damn thing happen! LOL fingers crossed!

Rachel, yay, I'm  to hear that! I hope it turns out well for you. Ackack, I'm right there with you on the tiredness. I've been tossing and turning until 4 or 5 am a lot recently. I go for my first day of work (actually training, but still) tomorrow and I'm so nervous about it. All I've done for work so far is fill out paperwork, so I have no idea what to expect tomorrow. I don't know my employee number to clock in (or if I even have one yet-if I do, no one's given it to me), I don't have my hat (my job is a fast food job so we have hats), and I've literally never touched a cash register and have no idea how to work one. I know they'll train me and all that and I'm probably worrying too much about this, but I hate feeling unprepared like this. On top of that, they didn't pay me for orientation like they were supposed to (which is not that big a deal because it's like $15, but I'd really like to get paid once I'm actually working) so I get to figure that out and see if there was an issue with my paperwork for direct deposit or if they just didn't pay me. So, that'll be fun. (I know I sound whiny, but I really am trying to stay hopeful that tomorrow will go well despite me being so nervous.) |

I hope it went well for you coffeechick, I recently changed departments this year and it was like starting a new job it is nerve wracking but after a few hours it was all good.

Still no word on the job but met with the surgeon for my follow up this morning and it's official that my thyroid was not cancerous woohoo! Said one of the growths on it is a type of tumor that can sometimes be pre malignant though so it's good we did this now. some weight off my shoulders!
