Slightly off topic (and I'm on a lunch break now) but wow, it's really not that hard to figure out where the editing place is or where she currently lives. I'm not usually great with snooping but she's made it surprisingly easy. And now I feel gross for doing that! Honestly - she should try to be a little more careful with that. She's constantly talking about being alone, and walking home alone, etc. If it was easy to find, what's to stop someone with bad intentions finding it as well. I don't care for her, but geez...I truly hope she's lying when she says she's alone. Maybe this is a reach but...does anyone else think that maybe she wants some crazy fan to stalk her? Like...I get the sense it would boost views to have a story about somebody stalking her. Every youtuber has a crazy eyerolling stalking story. |

Also some of her videos have the names of the streets or you can clearly see the buildings in the area that she works so it's not that hard to figure out where she is. Despite the fact that I know the area because I live about 5 minutes from there!! Maybe some of those things need to be blurred out? I don't know. |

Maybe she wouldn't expect people to live in Vancouver? I don't know. With the internet though it's pretty easy to find people these days.
Where she vlogs from is a pretty busy area and there's a couple of supermarkets, liquor store etc etc so it's not that hard to figure out. Besides the fact that she walks over the same bridge every night so I'm sure a crazy stalker could easily "bump" into her on her way home. It just weirds me out that I know where she is!!

The Rachel's new video and the Ballinger Family video with the bowling are both actually really cute. The kids are having fun instead of just performing. Nice change of pace. And not really much Chris commentary, which is always a plus.

It's different though in a regular job, if you're serving coffee or fixing computers or providing medical care you are not surrounded by your ex's pictures and fans. Josh knows every time he uploads a video he'll get comments from "Colleen's Cookie Monster" and "Erikleen OTP" or whatever and he can't push it aside and be distracted at work for 8 hours... by default the continued reminders of her are his work. It's not a normal work situation and it's lucky that he's not in a normal work situation. It would be easier for him if it was. TBH, he can avoid those comments. I remember when Jesse and Jeana broke up and Jesse said he enters words he doesn't want posted in comments so those stay hidden. |

I think, for Josh and even YouTube, his identity was Colleen and Miranda's baaaaaaaaaae. He tried other stuff during that time... the music, the dreadful WUI, Josh Does... but none of those things worked. He seems to be trying to figure out his identity now. None of those things worked out because he half-assed all of them. Same thing with his post-Colleen projects. We always talk about how they probably broke up because Colleen wasn't as into the relationship, emotionally-speaking, as he wanted. But I also think his lack of ambition had something to do with it; Colleen wanted an equal. Someone who was working as hard as she was. She may not have wanted to be the breadwinner while her husband vlogged while walking his dog once a month. I can see there being some resentment on her part about that kind of stuff. He doesn't put any effort into anything he does. Or he'll put effort into the first video, then decide it's too much work and go back to vlogging about nothing. Also, I don't care if he only posts once a week or once a month. I follow several youtubers who have erratic posting schedules, but they don't promise new videos every day or every week. When you tell your followers that you're going to do something, and you don't do it, you look lazy. Especially if it happens as consistently as it does with Josh. As someone else said, it's just disrespectful to his fans. Colleen got what she wanted. She flipped out when he chose to accept a job that was what he wanted (not YouTube). She wanted him at her beck and call, useless that she changed her mind later. Plus if both people were like Colleen, that wouldn't be much of a relationship unless most projects were together. Is she wanting some dude who is also gone all the time working? Who is also not taking any private time but always with work and his fans? Bullshit. She is to blame for her own situation. |

He said look what I got in the mail then paused and started going overboard thank you thank you thank you like it wasn't enough. Then pauses again and I swear you hear someone make a faint sound like they're smacking their lips and then he goes MWA!!! Like he's kissing at the camera. Expires in a couple hours but I'm curious if anyone else hears this or if I'm imagining it. Wish I knew how people save snapchat clips.

Her new video...she for sure has to be reading here she calls her butt "flat like a pancake" (I'm aware it's a thing in the inter webs but that's literally all we call her butt) and says "there is this instagram account that post facts about me" and it's a snap from a group chat with her, Rachel and jess...from the same account we talked about a few weeks ago....
ALSO: shes begun asking people to share her vids for follows and retweets and stuff..... yikes 😂

I find it both annoying and humorous that Colleen has complained nonstop about sitting in the "editing room" all day for months on end watching the same footage over and over and over again - yet on her day off with her dad she sat through FOUR episodes of that footage just for fun. You'd think that during this process she would avoid it at all costs... I'm just going by her incessant bitching about it. Can you imagine sitting next to Colleen and watching those episodes with her? She probably didn't shut the hell up the entire time. Remember last season when she revealed all of the super interesting "secrets" from HBO? *yawn* I imagine that's what it would be like watching episodes with her. Having to endure endless behind the scenes nuggets of information that no one gives a shit about. Did Colleen ever finish doing the videos or live streams where she would watch all the episode of HBO and do a commentary? I remember her hyping that idea when HBO first came out. Colleen talks more about editing than acting, which is odd. I'm almost positive Colleen doesn't need to be there for editing, because she's not an editor, and two, these aren't the days of the Moviola. I know that studios upload films and certain employees/actors or maybe an editor is given a password to login to the site to watch the footage without being there. I'm not sure if Colleen is always "editing" because she's a control freak or maybe she loves watching herself? |

The forbidden word thing is interesting; I bet Colleen is utilizing it.  Kind of off topic, I think someone posted this vid awhile back and referenced a timestamp earlier on in the video where Josh and Colleen are talking about how much makeup she wears, and if she does it for herself or for other people, but I clicked on the video and saw people were referencing in the comments to a moment around 37 minutes into it (start at 37:30 to be precise) but listen to her response to the baby question at 37:50 - "can we wait til after I finish the Netflix show, then sure" 😂:
I understand, though. Like, I get her angle. But, it just made me laugh that of course the Netflix venture was on the forefront of her mind, and Josh very family-oriented and looking forward to building that, which most people after being together for that long, are on that train of thought. I think Colleen's mentality is stuck at the ages of 18-22.

Ballinger vlog: wow, that was actually refreshing. I actually, dare I admit this, chuckled during it! It was actually cute and honestly this is what I had in mind when I would think of family vloggers. Them just having unstaged, innocent, unscripted FUN. The kids looked like they actually enjoyed themselves. Much more pleasurable to watch.
Rachel: finally subbed to her channel because I actually have a soft spot for her oddly? I watched her latest vlog and wow you guys are right, she's very loud and yells a lot 😂 But idk. She seems way more personable. Annoying, but actually relatable and down to earth. Have we seen her and Colleen together since she jumped ship and moved out of C's house? I can't remember...
Colleen's corner: honestly, its very tacky to talk about money. And though she only did for the last question at the end, to make that the focal point of your video and your clickbait title? It's just very very tacky. Also going from Rachel's video to hers is just, wow. Makes me like Rachel more lol.. colleen is just entirely unrelatable and her period videos and shit aren't doing much to bring her closer to her viewers like she would think. It's just like oh wow ANOTHER person making a video in the same style talking about similar topics. I appreciate her trying to do skits, but a lick of originality couldn't hurt her, could it? Maybe? Probably?

I could be totally wrong, but I'm PRETTY sure Carmichael, Maron (on "Glow"), John Mulaney, Jerry Seinfeld, Whitney, Zooey D, Emily D, Claire Danes, or anyone else who is both star and exec prod. sit and edit all day. This is not a reality show where they have a crapload of video and have to decide to give it a narrative and arc. This. is. a. scripted. show. This means, technically, an editor (a skilled, experienced editor) can put the show together. He/She can get notes from the exec prod. about tweaks, but NO ONE else spends all day with the editor. She is doing that because she WANTS to do that. I would bet my precious precious doggie that NO Netflix exec contractually obligated her to do all the post. ADR, sure. Season-specific promotion, of course. But not the editing. That is her own shiz. She makes it sound like she has been separated from L.A. and family for months and months, but she's constantly flying back and forth. If the schedule is "grueling" it's because that's the regular post production schedule the editor(s) are working with -- it bugs me no end that she makes it sound like she HAS to be there. Someone asked why the other cast or Christopher have not been involved in editing? Because the person who is supposed to be doing that is the editor. I believe she is committing herself to this schedule to distract from the fact that she's embroiled in this still on-going tension with Josh (and subsequently Julien and Jenna, Rebecca, Matt Slays, etc) -- but especially her first cousin Adam Trent and Josh's sis Erin -- her friends and family are finding their own way (still on her coattails). Jessica and Chris have their new cul-de-sac $899K house and are RACKING up the brand deals. Rachel is looking for a house and went on a book tour. Frannie really really appears to be distancing herself away from Colleen. I was watching that now "legendary"/now deleted live stream in which Chris said "it [the divorce] had to happen," and then Rachel very purposefully repeated that... I didn't know what it meant then and I don't know what it means now. I do think that Colleen was VERY VERY disingenuous using the words "I'm so in love with Joshua right now" in her divorce video. It goes along with all of her hyperbolic "my best friend" (cue: 20 people in SB) and how everything "is everything!" |

Doesn't Fran live in New York? Probably wouldn't fly in for a pool party. Angela has a husband and a family so I doubt she'd come either. Steve Little seems like he'd be into. Who even knows what's going on with her and Erik? Attendance at this BBQ is looking spotty at best. Then again maybe Colleen isn't really planning on doing it but wanted to put out a "I LOVE MY CAST SO MUCH HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY" vibe and drum up interest in HBO.
