He looks so broken and shitty and insecure and this just so isn't right. He doesn't deserve this. and honestly, if she came out with a video that had actual true emotion and she was getting death threats on the regular, I would say she doesn't deserve this either. What a shitty fuckin situation. I'm going to bed now, I'll catch up in a few hours (3am here on the east coast). Curious to see what you all have to say.

She needs to fucking speak out to her fans. This has gone too far. All cute little nicknames for her and her fans aside, she needs to reiterate that it is not acceptable to say these disgusting things to him. Breakup or not, he's still a human being.

for those who don't want to watch the video here's a summary

- he's sorry for yesterdays video, feels like he took it too far

- apologised to colleen, or whoever colleen was getting to watch the videos

- called out the younger fans who have been abusing him and sending him death threads

- did not take back what he said, just pointed out that they had trouble handling the comments.

- one in a million vid

Colleen was encouraging her fans to keep tweeting those things to Josh because she was liking them. I already saw a minion trying to start crap in the comments.

I'm disappointed. I think he should have ripped off the bandage. But it's his life. I hope he reported all those kids.

she won't. she thinks vague (and way over done) "be kind and ignore mean people" comments are enough. I think she likes seeing him like that. honestly she's just a shitty person. who the fuck isn't like "hey, i know you're upset but don't send death threats" she hasn't said shit since the vid.

I'm so disappointed and annoyed by this video! Yeah okay sure don't speak for anyone. I really wish he stood his ground. Clearly, she did some fucked up things to him...things beyond "betraying" the sanctity of marriage. Otherwise, he wouldn't be so riled up and have made that video last night. He has every right to call her out on her shit if he wants. He wasn't even calling her out yesterday, he could've been way more vicious. He didn't cross the line, imo. But her cult has convinced him otherwise. Death threats?! Holy hell. That's insaaaane. Her fans are not normal. As the leader, and a grown ass woman, she needs to rein that in.

The sad thing is NO ONE calls her out. She has surrounded herself with yes men and ppl who don't have the balls to stand up to her bc they rely on her for money and continued relevance. And now, someone who she discarded like a piece of trash...someone who is now a stranger can't stand up for himself even after being so fucked over by her.

Another poster upthread said they wish josh wouldn't give her the satisfaction of acknowledgement and I couldn't agree more. He continues to stroke her ego, which ultimately makes her more certain of her decision to leave him. That's how narcissists roll. It's all just so sad.

Still up, can't sleep. Fuming on his behalf. Tweeted Colleen for the first time ever. Doubt she will read it, and I'm ready to get attacked. But I just said, "dude, your followers are sending death threats right now. you have a platform. speak up. you know THAT is not okay." I was happy that he recognized that it went a bit far but thrilled when he said he wasn't taking it back, because it was the truth (his truth). You need to stand up more for yourself, Josh! Being nice to people does not mean being a doormat, and you're sort of acting like one by backing down half way like this.

Most of her fandom (I won't say all because there are some decent fans) are a bunch of fucking hypocritical 12 year olds with next to no life experience who don't grasp the pain Josh is going through (heck, I'm 20 and have experience with heartbreak and still haven't been through the same situation to grasp it, but I can empathize.) I try to be tame and kind with what I say, even on a gossip site, but to hear that Josh received death threats from a fandom who claims to "spread happiness" makes me so mad.

I'm honestly not sure. I think a lot of it depends on how Josh chooses to handle them. I think if he reported it to the police, something might happen, but a lot of them also probably came from minors so I'm not sure how that would be handled

It'll be interesting to see, considering there's that girl on trial who encouraged her bf to kill himself through text when she was a minor. i'm betting that will affect how twitter handles those things with minors

The only way to solve this issue is to say what Colleen did that made him feel so betrayed/backstabbed. Maybe that will wake some of her stans up. Honestly he is just speaking the truth, and if she did do something it deserves to be brought to light.

A lot of it has to do with who both of them are, I think. Josh is a kind and a good person (maybe too much so for his own good) while Colleen is selfish and not a nice person and cares mostly for herself. She doesn't seem to care how small she makes Josh feel as long as she can keep up her happy facade.

Josh did what he felt he had to do. I'm pretty positive he was reading here, saw what we were saying, and decided we were right that he shouldn't have likes that comment and either needed to tell all or move on. He chose to move on. I get it. Today was intense. Who knows how it would be if he told the whole story. He was getting ganged up on so he backed down. Unfortunately, he has to handle this on his own and do it professionally. I feel terrible for him. Honestly he needs to get back to some kind of normal and find a way to let go. It's awful what she's done, but he'll never get validation from everyone. He has it from us though. He has it from his friends and family. He needs to find it in himself. Keep your chin up Josh. I may not be a stan, but I know you're a good dude who deserves better.

She always posts tweets and videos saying to spread happiness but only if that happiness is directed at her or people she likes. It's okay to be a complete cunt to others. She's a hypocrite.

If Josh's fans were sending her death threats u know that one, josh wouldn't stand for it and two, Colleen would make a big song and dance about it
