Hey y'all. I posted as crustycolleen over at the bakery. Anyway, I know y'all have discussed her posting an ariana grande related video right after the Manchester attack, so my apologies in advance for derailing the convo. Just needed to vent...I thought she couldn't get any worse but after that fame whoring shenanigan, I absolutely LOATHE her. She's an absolute disgusting pig of a human being. I know she hails from the begginger clan but hot damn, this girl has no shame and is lower than low.

Do you guys remember in her divorce video, she was going off about how disgusted she was at the thought of people using her divorce/their heartbreak as clickbait thumbnails and just how gross that was??? Well shit, pot, meet kettle. I can't believe she used such a devastating tragedy to garner more attention and gain subscribers.

Ps. Looks low she has since taken the video down. Wonder if Ariana's PR team asked her to take it down? Since we all like to REACH here...maybe inviting Frankie grande up to Canada was damage
control on her part to salvage whatever relationship she had with ariana. I can't imagine ariana would want to carry on being "friends" with that bitch after her tasteless, and sociopathic move.

I wholeheartedly agree. Obviously I don't think he's doing anything dubious with them, but there's an adult/child relationship being blurred. I would be upset if a 30 something year old man was encouraging my child to have dms etc

Agreed that I'm sure there's nothing inappropriate going on, but it sure is unnecessary and weird. C'mon, Josh, start setting some necessary boundaries.

If Josh never called that fan "cruel" things might not have gone so bad but damn the minions are angry. This is like the 80th wave of "I can't believe you, I loved you, but I am done. Goodbye, Josh." I get why he's involved with these kids. Just look at who he was married to. But he needs to cut that shit out asap. For one thing, you shouldn't have a fake close relationship with underage strangers who idolize you. Secondly, you shouldn't respond to drama bait on Twitter. Personally, if I were a famous YouTuber I would avoid most fan interaction, especially from people who seemed obsessive or just trying to get attention.

I have a feeling his mention of manipulation was geared at Colleen which I wholeheartedly agree with, but he's got to be careful as well. All these preteens dming them and sharing gossip is super weird and creepy. Stop gossiping with these children and grow up! There should be a bit of distance between you and your fans, especially the ones who can't behave normally.

I don't think we are that much better than kids thinking that everything he writes is about Colleen. It's been almost a year. He probably doesn't think about her 24/7.

yeah i just scrolled through and saw he was publicly (allegedly) talking about a fan. If you're going to play up to these kid's crushes, you hold yourself to a certain standard that you need to go by. one of those things is not talking shit about your vulnerable fans in a public setting like that. He wouldn't have these problems to begin with if he didn't give so much of himself to them. he's no better than colleen in that way.

Thats true, however when he's spent a year dropping hints about colleen it's hard not to be presumptuous.

I don't know, I guess I just can't understand how he can't let it go already, they are ALL acting like teenagers. It's like the more young followers you have the more you act like them

I totally agree with this.  I do feel for him though - I feel like maybe because it's something he's used to doing given who he was married to and the way she interacts with the minions and he's probably worried that he'll lose a huge wave of subs/views if he just stops all contact with them.  I mean - don't get me wrong - I think it needs to be done and he'd probably end up better off in the long run if he weeded the fanbase out a little, but I can understand that might be unsettling and also easier said than done. 

I also wonder if maybe he's not ready to get rid of the younger fan base because that's the largest percentage of viewers on YouTube?  I don't know that for sure but it wouldn't surprise me.  And they way things are going with ads and YouTube in general it might not be the best "business decision" to do that.  

I'm definitely not justifying the twitter stuff, (and he should 100% unfollow the account made just for him) -  just thinking out loud.

Also - I wonder what kind of "proof" the girl has that he was talking about her (if that's true) - I saw his tweets last night (before all hell broke loose, apparently) and I assumed he was talking about Trisha Paytas.  He's said before that he was friends with her or something along those lines and her last two videos were pretty intense talking about depression and suicide. 

EWWWWW I just clicked on it and I had actually replied then and said a supportive message. I was starting to see the light then but still obviously somewhat blinded. Reading the comments though I remember this started because she changed her display name to just colleen instead of colleen Ballinger Evans and everyone lost their mind. I still maintain that was an overreaction on their part. LOL. If she at that point had rolled back to just colleen Ballinger, sure, yeah, that's concerning, but the first name only didn't seem like a big deal. Might have had a negative intention when she did it but I don't know.

It reminded me of this vlog when Josh visited her the first time and they ran around trying to take kissy pictures. The date is around the same. For him it was probably just cute and sweet and for her it was a plan honestly. Starts at about 8 minutes in. It's especially gross to me at the end when they're in bed and he's saying that it's one of the best days they've ever had together in their entire relationship and she's just sitting with her back to him on her cell phone and she's just like "yeah." Wtf.

This video drove me nuts for many reasons.  I also got the vibe that she is frustrated and just doesn't care. She keeps making snide comments that sound 100% like Colleen.  Mirleen everybody...she's coming out in full force and without shame.  Also....her legs remind me of grasshopper legs.
