I definitely think Colleen started to fall for Erik during the filming of season 1 of HBO - she was apart from Josh and let's face it, it's very easy for actors to fall in love with eachother on set. I dunno, I think even when she was crazy about him there was a culture clash and something about him and his family that made her cringe and being around a guy like Erik who was from a completely different background made it easy for her to romanticize him.
Fact is, Colleen doesn't live in the real world or abide by real world rules. She lives in a bubble and fantasy world and fell in love with the idea/fantasy of love.

I am older than ackack and I read here. But I would say I am the exception amongst people I know.
I'm old AF but I still feel like I'm in my 20s in a lot of ways. I have young children so I guess that helps.

I can see if Josh had told his family about it that they might check it out. I don't know that they would seek it out or even be aware that it's a thing. Idk how internet savvy they are.

Yes, Colleen, because cats are famously known for loving water. Hell, most pets don't like getting baths from their owners! I can't see any reason why Chris had to come home.
Sure it would be nice to be there for family time with Jessica's Grandma. But I'm positive she came
to see her Granddaughter and Great Grandchildren and she would understand that he had to work.

I hope he's not getting paid much this season because it's ridiculous.

I know I do prefer to have my husband home, especially since we've had children.
But if he needed to go for his job, then I would have to suck it up.
Jessica doesn't work, the kids do not go to school or even many scheduled activities.
I can't see any reason why she can't manage while he goes.
Right after the baby was born, I understand. But she seems to have recovered well.

I just turned 48 and I honestly can't believe I'm that old. wtf. When did this happen?
My kids are 8 and 11 and I would not let them watch Colleen / Miranda or most of the YouTubers that I watch! 

We keep a pretty close eye on what they watch. I know I can't shelter them forever but it's my job to make sure they don't watch inappropriate content.

That includes talking about your pussy, porn, mocking special needs (which is what Miranda character is at this point)
and swearing. If I was an unsuspecting parent you better believe I'd be tearing Miss Queef a new one if I took my kids to that trash.

I'd have to agree about gossiping not having age limits. My mom is more of a gossip monger than I am and I sometimes have to scold her lol. I don't think his parents obsessively read here like us "youngins" but I think they visit every now and then since they're closely tied to the drama. Moreover, we spit some truth and dish out some good gossip. I don't think the Evans are above it, at all.

On another note, since I'm a sick fuck, i watched the B Fam vlog today. I can recall chris, not even a month ago, getting Messi Jessi 10 of those Canadian candy bars. Did she go thru all that already?! He seems to have brought her a fresh batch on his most recent visit.

Glad Jacob got to eat chili at their friends bday party. For once, he's getting a hearty meal and a good amt of protein, not just snacks/carbs as a meal.

No you're right...a couple years  ago when I first found her she was usually only making burp and fart jokes and poop jokes sometimes too. And the occasional innuendo...so of course my 12 year old mind felt so rebellious watching her(🙄). Then as the wedding came closer and kory was around more is when the she started making more dirty jokes and stuff and the word "hunty" came in and then she just got worse and worse and worse...and here she is now going thru her "sis" phase....oy 

Okay but Whether or not Josh's parents know about the site it doesn't change anything here. Some people walk on egg shells with talking about Josh because they think he could see it. This is a gossip site, Josh understands what it is and that it's his choice to read here same as Colleen. All joking aside, I feel like she legit has the mental capacity of a young teenager. Maybe it's bc she was sheltered af growing up. She's probably never had a real adult job aside from Disney, and everyone in her life just bows down at her feet, so I think her opportunities for personal growth have been really limited.

She literally complains every fucking day she has to work on HBO bc it's her first big girl job where she actually had to work and answer to someone. She reminds me of a kid who gets a job for the first time and can't shut up abt how taxing and hard it is.

to preface: i don't think josh isn't heart broken or anything.

I thought he had a poor work ethic, but it's occurred to me recently that he's still playing the game. His content IS his divorce. Every video has a reference or some kind of sympathy garnering content in it so people feel bad and say "aww poor josh". I think the long breaks etc are all a part of it so people worry and tune in when he DOES upload. He's playing a smart game with it, since colleen has taken a lot of subscribers, but he's playing a game none the less

The constant complaining about editing is getting to me, "The editors in the editing room want me to EDIT?". What does she expect? You have ONE job, it's not like the other editors are making you wash their cars or pick up their drycleaning. She reminds me of a young girl who gets a summer job through family and does dick all other than look at their phone all day and complain about how bored they are.

You can't yell choose happiness and then bitch about her chosen circumstance every waking second. I don't think she's trying to contradict herself, I just think she's straddling a line because she's bitten off more than she can chew. I also don't think it clicks with her, how exhausting she's become to watch.

I do think she's emotionally immature, and as hard as it would be to imagine, that's not actually a knock to her. I don't she's been brought up to be an adult, and I say that as someone who came from a line of moms(at least 3 generations) who weren't emotionally present enough to raise us to become emotional adults. It may have originated a long time ago in the Ballinger family too.

I'm about a year younger than Colleen, and am working on it, but I see a lot of the same pitfalls I saw in myself as well as my mother(who really only over came it 5 years ago)

I think it's the latter, she's trying to be relatable. The thing abt it, tho, is the hard work" she's putting in is all going towards her empire/franchise. She needs to stfu. And as far as editing goes, she's not doing shit, it seems. She sits on the sofa in the editing room and probably cracks infantile jokes, and has some verbal input here and there. I think the show would be infinitely better and way more clever and polished if she left it up to the professionals.

I feel like her attitude is pretty prevalent amongst the YouTube community, tho. Like whenever they get a professional project, they're so overwhelmed by actual real work, they end up bitching and moaning about it incessantly, not realizing the rest of the world works 10x harder for a fraction of what they're making.
