I'm happy that his "family vlogger" career plan didn't pan out. It would have been another child labor circus like Chris and Jessica's family. These "family vloggers" aka child exploiters really disgust me. I'm sure he was drooling at the amount of cash he could rake in from filming Colleen's spawn. I feel bad that he was dumped and betrayed, but I think at least 50% of his sadness is about the money.

I think it really depends on how its done. There's the ballinger way which is getting the kids to play up to the camera for views, which is done a LOT. Like even people like the Gardner quad squad get the kids to play up to the camera a lot.

Then you've got vloggers like the Binghams who film their life, rather than their kids. So they'll show 1 son in swimming and will cheer him on etc, but they don't invade his space to get footage or force their kids to play up to the camera. If someone says no, they put the camera down etc. Which I'm more ok with and I imagine (or hope!) that's how Josh would vlog. Though at the end of the day, unless the kid is old enough to say ok, i probably wouldn't feel comfortable vlogging my kid.

On a side note, I've noticed a LOT of comments in the ballinger vlogs practically begging them to put Parker in gymnastics. I find it really sad that they still haven't done that for him. I've also noticed that they've basically stopped all outside of vlogs activities with the kids. Is it off season or do you think they've just stopped?

Pokémon begginger vlog:

1. Whyyyy is the shot ALWAYS out of focus
2. Chris was such a douche to Parker about explaining the periodic table onesie
3. Chris was such a douche to Jacob and Bailey about the Pokémon game. Those disclaimers about them most likely not being the right rules were rude af!!!! He was also so mean to them about it in general saying he "didn't have qualified instructors". Maybe he should stop his incessant narcissistic unfunny chatter and actually allow them to speak.
4. Wtf is this shit anyways. Several minutes of footage of chris being a douche about the pokemon cards is so ridiculously boring.

i feel so sorry for Bailey. It just doesn't seem like she has any friends. My husband's niece grew up very sheltered and didn't have any friends. She is 22 now and she is struggling terribly with making friends and knowing boundaries and just everything that she should have learned by now.

That don't call them the formative years for nothing. They are creating a new version of Colleen. Emotionally and socially stunted, too dependent on her family.

Agree that chris is worse bc he (+5) rides coline's coat tails like white on rice.

I do think they need each other tho, it's a total symbiotic relationship. I don't think Coline could've managed writing that (scrap)book and pitching HBO on her own.

Whenever she gets professional opportunities, she always ropes chris in because...well, she's a fucking child with no real world experience. Anything that occurs outside her childish bubble requires the assistance of an "adult."

Sorry to come in with the admin hat on again (oh no they say, mod power gone mad!), but I just wanted to post a quick reminder and sort of update to the rules, as I have removed a post (nobody did anything wrong, it's our bad for not being clearer) and thought it would be a good time to discuss this.

Regarding YouTuber family members/partners (ie: Josh's parents, Rachel's partner Matt, Ballinger cousins etc), we aren't a fan of digging into their personal life or encouraging it. You're more than welcome to discuss what you have seen in said YouTubers vlogs, however, we will remove any finer details that have not been posted on public social media etc. We aren't asking you to actively avoid talking about them, we just ask that you respect their privacy.

Actually, I think she will bring up the divorce or her *current* dating life and struggles relating to that only when her views really plummet and lose relevance. I think Chris is a hideous parent and my heart goes out to his kids. Truly. They are helpless victims. I think child labor laws need to be put in place for these YouTube kids. If not hour laws, some way to insure profits from these family blogs go into trust funds for those kids.

But...... hands down, Colleen is the worst for me. She literally is life or death for Josh. I think this betrayal has probably given him more "dark thoughts" and, I hope it is ok to worry/ wonder out loud if that means suicidal thoughts. Situational depression can mess with people. Betrayal is so painful. Josh talked about that in his Draw My Life video too.

Also, the death threats from Colleen's little thugs. She might not have made them herself, but she could have made a bold, clear, definite statement about it. On alllllllllllllllllllllll her creepy, ridiculous social media. That she didn't... when she had the chance.... will always define her for me. If I was Josh, this would hurt more than her cheating.

Chris is a bag of dicks. But, Colleen is deadly.

I have noticed if you are on mobile sometimes photos show up as ads on here for whatever reason.

If anyone had any doubts of the differences between Colleen and Josh, just look at the comments they get under their videos. A lot of the comments that Josh gets are supportive and well written. Colleen gets a lot of fluff (you're my queent!) and non topical comments (which Ballinger are you.) Josh definitely got the mature fans in the split. "You are the company you keep."

I think Liza was just being sarcastic tbh. She has that natural talent. The fact that Colleen supposedly turned down a collab with Liza a while ago, and now Liza is probably saying no is biting her in the ass. I know it's really bugging her that Liza and Josh follow each other but liza doesn't follow Colleen. I'm sure Liza can see straight through her manipulative antics. For gods sake, she's also tried to intervene in Lilly's fandom, tweeting her fans and manipulating them. That's just fucking creepy. If I was Lilly I'd be pissed if I saw that.

True! Weird Liza just didn't directly tweet @her 

It's just so telling that Gabbie is a mutual friend of both Colleen and Liza, yet Liza has never even formally met her or no sign of anything. This is just strange to me. I'm sure Gabbie is aware of how desperate Colleen is for Liza's attention and for a collab. I know she's secretly laughing at her behind her back at a 30 year old woman running after someone 10 years younger. Liza and Gabbie do seem like genuine friends and I'm happy for them. Same with Liza and Lilly. Liza herself has stated that she basically is Lilly

Meanwhile, look at how many friends and supportive people Josh is surrounded by. It's easy to see here who's the more genuine and personable one especially since julien and Arnold have sided with Josh. Hopefully his friends are telling him "Hey, if C ever tries to contact you, don't follow it. You know yourself she's highly skilled at manipulation and you'll just go back to being unhappy in the relationship."

Maybe this is just the long day talking don’t crucify me but don’t you sometimes feel bad for Colleen? I mean idk sometimes I watch her videos and look at her and sometimes I do see a genuine person who’s just trying to survive under a lot of unjustified pressure that she puts on herself and doesn’t realize it’s irrational. Don’t get me wrong sometimes she does some stupid shit like really but when I see other youtubers shade her and I imagine them gossiping and laughing about her I can’t help but to think about her sitting alone thinking about where she took such a wrong turn, and this is where everything comes from that we hate she’s doing everything in haste to try and get back onto a track that’s no longer next to her but she’s too clouded to notice that it’s no longer in sight. She can’t keep being so consistent soon she will probably break down or even announce things with Erik and break down in that video and maybe it won’t be to get views and from that point she might start to be more genuine and will create videos that are original and not just the stuff that she thinks will get her views. We know she has that originality in her by looking back at her old videos. She’ll realize that she doesn’t need Liza and them and she doesn’t always have to be on top. This is not me turning into a fan or anything I just want to speak what’s on my mind instead of useless bashing you know?

You are so right. When the kids were super excited about the new tent wanting to sleep in it, he said no and I just KNEW he was waiting until he could plan out some stupid "camping out vlog special" and then he did exactly that! He literally won't allow his kids to do anything fun unless they "earn it" by performing for his stupid videos.

And yeah the kids don't appear to do any outside sports, classes, or activities besides their religious homeschool cult meetings, and when they went to basketball camp for a week.

Honestly, no. We all make our own choices. Colleen put herself in this situation and isn't trying to fix it. She's old enough know what she is doing. She made her bed and now she has to lay in it. I'm hoping one day she will wake up and realize what she's doing but I won't hold my breath.

I saw on David's livestream that Liza is going to do a clothing line or something. David said that is why she doesn't do "merch" because she is doing a serious clothing company.

Liza is a girl who knows how to market herself. She is really talented naturally, and is growing her success. I hope, if the story of the up and coming Liza getting snubbed by Colleen is true, Liza remembers that. And, snubs the down and going Erikleen.

Gabbie probably isn't THAT much younger than Colleen,but Colleen seems and acts like a 50 year old woman. 50 year old women are cool, but are different than 25 year olds.

I honestly have a hard time feeling sorry for her, especially because of how she's been behaving after the divorce. Acting like Josh never existed and how much he's hurting. The worst part is that Colleen 100% knows he's in his most vulnerable phase right now and she's taking advantage of that. She knows exactly what she did to him and what she's doing right now. I'm sure this is what upset the majority of her youtuber friends hence why they stopped talking to her. She probably thought that since she's way more popular than he is, she will right away get more support. Plus her minions are young and clueless and they'll support her no matter what. Colleen needs to learn to take responsibility for her actions. She's a30 year old woman who is mentally 14. She just seems like someone who will never learn from her mistakes until they really bite her in the ass. Her former YouTube friends cutting her off is one step. She betrayed Josh, so she deserves any karma that comes to her.
