The thing that baffles me is that she says she's disgusted by Jake Paul for LITERALLY doxxing post Malone and Jake's neighbours, however, she feels that it's NOT YOUTUBE'S JOB to step in. Firstly. WHAT? it's their website! That's like me saying "oh I know the minions are harassing you on here, but as the people who run the site, it's not mine or smashleigh's job to deal with it". So what does she think is their job? Giving her money and that's it?

So it's not youtube's job, ok, but then she says youtube is a self-policing platform, except, when people self-police by actively trying to stop a doxxer, she's disappointed to her core over people taking away Jake Paul's right to upload videos?

It's disappointing that she doesn't feel the need to stand up for Jake Paul's neighbours in the situation, considering they didn't choose that life. Considering how private they are about showing THEIR house, you'd think they'd extend that consideration to strangers who aren't interested in being on youtube.

Also, I know Julien isn't the sharpest tool in the shed compared to Jenna, but I do find myself sympathizing with him a lot in the podcasts, because jenna always walks all over him

I didn't watch the Jake Paul podcast because he just doesn't interest me at all but can we talk about how cute Jenna's new video is?? They seem so much less stressed and happier with each other than they have for the past few weeks, it's so good to see! And I love Jenna's natural hair texture, it softens her face and makes her look younger.

Agreed that it should be YouTube's place to step in. i think I see her point in that if YouTube we're to start to micromanage content it would lose what makes it the platform that it is, however, when someone is breaking laws or imposing on others rights they should step in because it's Posted on their platform. If it's against the laws in California to record someone without consent, his videos should be taken down by the platform that they're being hosted.

I was not a fan of this vid. It felt kinda lazy. I hope she doesn't get back into the habit of finding an idea for a vid on the day again

With this video I was able to understand why so many people on GG hate how much he's in her videos. It felt more like a Julien vlog without going anywhere tbh. Felt lazy. I love Julien don't get me wrong. But it felt lazy. And I'm sorry but it's like shit or get off the pot, if you're gonna put out garbage content don't even bother ya know?

Yeah, I definitely get the hate, I like Julien, but it sometimes gets a bit much. I think that she uses him as a crutch because she's out of ideas and thinks people like them together 24/7.

I think there would be a lot less hate if they didn't use inside jokes all the time, and there was a vid or so a month where it was just her.

I love Julien but it's seriously shitty of him to upload and basically entirely ruin Jenna's video before she's even uploaded hers. Like it's once a week where he has to let Jenna do her thing, and he still jumps in.

I really don't think it's fair or accurate to say I'm "wrong" unless you personally know Jenna and Julien intimately. We have all the same info (assuming you're just a viewer like me) and I have my perception and you have yours. Lots of people share my perception and lots share yours. We might never know what the truth is.

I don't know that I would say I know him intimately, but I've met him on three separate occasions and all of those interactions plus more online have firmly cemented my thoughts on who he is as a person. He works hard at what he does and people like to shit on him anyways and never look at him as anything more than Jenna's accessory. I mean I'm not saying he's perfect, and there are valid complaints about him, but I'm sorry he works hard to stand on his own and be his own creator.

As you can see, there's a lot more love on this J&J thread than on GG 😅

Alright, i'm about an hour into the podcast so far, and I gotta say I totally expected Julien to be OTT. I like the guy but I've never been fond of the deep and meaningful persona he puts on. I think he's doing well so far, both he and Jenna are talking equally, he seems chill.

I'm super curious to hear what Jenna will say regarding Pewdiepie dropping the N word in his stream, if she says anything at all

I didn't follow the last drama that closely but know she said it was overblown. I've seen the clip this time though and yeah I mean there's no excuse for it. I mean people can say that people say it all the time in the gaming community and that's kind of true. People spew all sorts of awful language on video games. But that doesn't make it okay to do just because it's the "norm."

what the fuck is wrong with people?! like WHO shows up to people's houses like that. I get you wanna make your kid happy but like, WHY GO TO A STRANGERS HOUSE?!!
