I originally wanted to make this for the Buzzfeed Unsolved Mysteries but I was reminded there are so many ghost and supernatural related series on YouTube and other shows that it was best to move this to a more general gossip/discussion thread over it.
I find Buzzfeed Unsolved funny because they are going to all the places Ghost Adventures crew went through.
That being said Zak from ghost adventures has such a huge ego he's why I can't really watch new episodes of that series lololol.

I'm not a huggee fan of the supernatural ones, because it feels weird to see people take the mickey out of it (as a horror movie girl, i like to be scared during these things!) Those are fun to go to though. There's one in melbourne where they take you around the city and tell you what's haunted and messed up ways people died. i've gone on it a few times! |

I'm obsessed. I love all those kind of things. I went to OU in Athens which is one of the most haunted places ever. That place is so creepy I sometimes couldn't sleep.

I always said if i ever went to the uk i'd try and do a haunted tour there. I'd love to go to the winchester mansion too. That place looks crazy. I think that's what the movie rose red was based on! I do like hearing the history of the buzzfeed stuff though |

I love the Lizzie Borden house. and Shane didn't believe the clear evidence. NOPE that's fact Shane, there is so much activity in that house.

But I graduated and moved away from Athens to Toledo and after graduating there I moved home to the Dayton area and that's where I've landed ever since lol. Athens is a welcoming place but also creepy. I went into a haunted building and I swear I saw a figure lol |

Would LOVE that hahah. If you aren't allergic you could see my cat lololololol. I used to think my apartment was haunted (my parents' house when I grew up sure was as well as my parents' house is currently haunted) but now that I have my cat I just chalk up any weird noise up to him hahahahha. My family also strongly believes in aliens lmao. But the latest Buzzfeed story was the Lizzie Borden house. The Skeptic said no that was just static. Like BOY that is not static and everyone gets that voice. |

My grandmother claims she was visited by "the tall ones" alien race one night when she was sleeping, she woke up when they were standing over her and she said they were saying "we can't take her, she is going to be a caregiver in the future" and truth be told she was. She took care of my grandfather from the time of his diagnosis with Hep C to the time he passed away. My mother was woken up by a phone call early in the morning and she claimed it was her grandfather. He told her he loved her and to be well and just be happy. By the time she was done talking she remembered he died a few days prior and it was the day of his funeral. My cousin and her then husband claim they were abducted for a few hours because they were in their car one minute and then the next she looked at the clock and three hours had passed when she swore she just got in the car three hours prior. I had an imaginary friend that I swore to my parents till I was blue in the face was real. And then when I was about four I use to scream at the top of my lungs because I was so scared of what was in the house (a kid committed suicide in the house before we owned it) so my parents had a priest come in and bless my room. Put scapulars over my bed and after that i slept like a baby the rest of my days. My mother and grandmother saw my great grandmother's ghost watching over my sister when she was a baby. Right before i moved into my first apartment I had a dream my grandfather that passed away was standing outside of my apartment and just trying to make me smile through the window. I know it's just a dream but it didn't feel like one, it felt like I was right there and as soon as I woke up I felt freezing and started sobbing which never happens to me in a normal dream. The day it happened makes me think it really was him because it was the date of his birthday. Same thing happened with my friend's mom that passed away, I was sitting in her house and she was just telling me how proud she was of him. I woke up and just felt freezing. Later that day I remembered that day was the second anniversary of the day she passed. There are too many experiences between my family members to not believe in something bigger. Why I won't touch a ouija board or play any stupid ghost game. |

Similar to Onyx, my family has alien experiences. Not as concrete with spoken language and everything but they seem to visit my male relatives on my dad's side a fair bit. Always turn off all the power and lights when they do. Once my dad was driving to work (he leaves around 4-5 in the morning) and noticed his truck started sputtering and suddenly stopped and all the street lamps around him shut off and he saw a UFO swoop in and lower a beam. He's a very religious man and started praying and the UFO left. Don't know if that's a coincidence or not. My uncles all have similar stories. Although one approached my uncle.
As far as ghosts, when my mom was pregnant with me, my parents and brothers lived in a house that used to belong to some people that practiced, who knows what, but my parents didn't know when they bought the house. One day my oldest brother was exploring and found a hidden room in the attic that had a ouija board and writing tha was like get out in blood or some shit. He didn't think much of it (thought it was a prank) until objects would fly out at him (like
Knives). Whatever was in that house also pushed my mom down the stairs when she was pregnant with me. Some shit happened to my dad at that house but I forget all the details. I know he was attacked a bit. Also we once lived in a house where I was good friends with the girl next door and would go to her house all the time. I always felt pretty sick in our house but I would get super sick every time I'd go to her house. I sometimes would get fevers and vomit out of nowhere. We didn't live there long (maybe 2 years) but my parents told me one day when I was a teenager that a doctor used to live in that neighbors' house and went crazy and murdered his family in the section between our houses. That would've been in the 60s.

Yaaaaaassssssssssssss My nan was going through her family's ancestry stuff and discovered that i think my great x6 grandma was killed in Austria for being a witch.
