I love Elijah, I do, but idk, the religion rant kind of put me off.... and I'm not religious in any way, for the record. Like okay, my stepmom and dad are religious, but not overly pushy or anything. They attend an Episcopalian church where the pastor (or whoever the main person is) is a lesbian, and they have quite a few trans members that are happily a part of their church. To just write off any Christian is just irresponsible to me I guess.. Anyone have any thoughts?

Honestly my thoughts are I think he had one goal: to get it banned off Amazon. That way he could make a point about free speech and how people can make all sorts of racist and homophobic statements and everyone's like hey free speech man, but if he insults the bible that gets shut down. Just my thoughts given his motive with becoming mayor. I also think it might be legitimately to point out how ludicrous some parts of the bible are.

He could have been really funny about it without being nasty to all religion. He was totally being sarcastic but it's like ok dude we get it you made the bible gay
