Ok so there's been some hot chat about swizzy and her new bop because it's clearly about ez breezy yeezy. The "tilted stage" line is referring to his concert where the stage hung off the roof and moved around. Personally, after seeing a small snippet to her film clip, this is gonna be a really embarrassing era for her. Home girl could have owned her shit, but she's goin straight up petty.
She's also dropping her album on the 10th anniversary of Kanye's mum's death. I think it's coincidental, however there's no way someone in her camp didn't know. It just makes her look worse. A lot of people on the Kanye subreddit are pretty pissed at her, since shes basically copying his pablo font, his merch, calling him out everywhere.

After rewatching and reviewing the lyrics to her song I'm seeing a lot of references to all sorts of people and the language of her lyrics suggests that this album happened because of multiple people. I sure this is just the introduction and that each person will have their own special song. Honestly should've seen this coming with all the shit she's been involved in the last year. I for one know she's being petty but I'm kind of living for it.

I guess she's trying to twist the narrative for it all back in her favour. I still think shes a shady bitch but i love the song. Also so many memes!

Personally, there isn't a TON of evidence to back this up, but she may be heading for a breakdown. She's become one of the biggest stars over the course of 10 years and she's making a lot of enemies. She can never take the blame (who does this sound like) and pushes it on other people.

I love Taylor Swift, and don't really care about the Kanye drama, but I really dislike her new single. I liked 1989 and it felt like a progression of maturity, but this new piece feels like she's going backwards. Kesha's new album Rainbow is amazing and really shows growth and vocal range, and Taylor's pales in comparison. I read a review that said it was "Disney-villain karaoke" and that really hit the nail on the head for me, the song could've been in a show like Descendants and would've fit perfectly. I hope she rethinks this whole thing, because I agree, this is going to be embarrassing for her.

ATM i see her playing it like "you get nothing from me now" as punishment for buying into the headlines, which is shit because only her fans will suffer.

And I think her voice has gotten a little better over the years, pretty much sounds the same to me though, minus the country. But this song was just so many other artist balled into it.

There was a really interesting (kinda long) article that buzzfeed did about her playing the victim all the time and honestly, up until reading it I still kind of liked her, but it totally changed my eyes. I also heard the new single while I was driving and I had to change it half way through it was so shitty. I don't know what happened to her, if she always was this person or if something really set her off, but from everything I've seen I feel like she was always a bitch in hiding. Here is the article: www.buzzfeed.com/elliewoodward/how-taylor-swift-played-the-victim-and-made-her-entire-caree?utm_term=.hg1pLQorX#.tvARdlob3

Sorry for double posting, but I think her main problem is that she looks at what people say about her and not why they are saying it. She never sees herself as the problem ONLY the victim.

I agree, I wish she would stop playing the victim card. Like, just move on and come up with something that's more important or interesting then your feuds. I'm ok with a sprinkle of "I don't like you" but geez, a little more subtlety, but she chose to make it her whole persona. She didn't put out anything for like 4 years and this was the best she could do? Disappointed.

What bothers me is the 1989 era was so calculated. Her "squad" of hot white females, her bullshit feminism. She never stood up when it mattered. Only when it affected her. Also she gave ruby rose a platform and that makes me mad

Ruby Rose was invited to her fourth of July thing, then was obsessively talking about her for more media attention. I really don't like her lol.

Also she gave ruby rose a platform and that makes me mad Oh yeah, everything she does is completely calculated. I just don't get why someone in her camp isn't like, " hey, people will like you more if you, idk, make your "feminism" more intersectional"? Maybe she's scared of losing fans who are white supremacists. And if her new video is a rip off of Lemonade like it appears to be, that will be even more problematic than she already is...

So I just read about her ticket system for her concerts.
Basically, you register for tickets and get put in a line. You can shift forward in the line by completing tasks. Each task has a "high" or "low" reward. So if you buy her album x amount of times or lots of merch, it's a high task and you get put in front of the queue if you add #reputation, its low and you get shifted up slightly.
Basically, you're encouraged to purchase her CDs and merch multiple times to get the front of the line. Which in itself is money grubbing as fuck, and is basically only useful for adults and kids who are well-off.
The kicker is doing all this doesn't actually guarantee any place in the line. The fine print says “Participation does not guarantee access to purchase tickets or the ability to purchase tickets"

This is the first tour. It's supposed to stop scalping but only cashed up people will benefit

She just released a clip of a new song ("ready for it") and it sounds like every other bland and generic pop song. Boo!

I feel this album might be a let down overall. In the past people loved her songs right away, now they are iffy overall.
