Do you guys have a skin care routine? I always had really nice skin, then this year stress got the better of me and I got psoriasis on my face and in my brows I have been using an oil which has been a miracle but I want to stay on top of it! I don't have psoriasis but I do have excema and cetaphyl is one of the best products I've found for it. I'm not sure if it's a brand y'all have in AU but if you do, it might be helpful. They have face wash, moisturizer, and body lotion/wash too. Aside from that, I also love Mario badescu products! You can get it in Aus. Pretty sure I've seen cetaphil here at Chemist warehouse, Coles and Priceline

Okay just skimmed the board:
-randomer you already received so many great tips but here's a few more: -I've tested like every bb cream (drugstore) in the market. Depending on your skin type, the best I've found are Garnier (the one for oily skin) but it will look more orange if you are too light and maybelline. - maybelline is one of the better all around drugstore brands. -ELF and Essence have several good products but a lot of it is junk. But it's so cheap that sometimes it doesnt hurt to try -start with a good moisturizer!!!! -you're from Texas right? HEB tends to sell makeup at a cheaper rate. Target and Walmart do as well. Stay away from CVS or Walgreens, unless nowhere else carries what you're looking for. They tend to run a few dollars more.
Every lady here's a good mascara tip: Curl your lashes and then put waterproof mascara. Follow up with your regular preferred mascara. Maybe this is common knowledge it seriously changed my lash game once I discovered it.
Tarte and PĆR are two of my favorite mid range brands. Their ingredients don't irritate my face.
My skin has been everywhere from super oily to incredibly dry (pregnancy and breastfeeding will do that) it's normally sensitive and acne prone but right now I can't get enough moisture. For a drugstore product I've found Garnier's moisture gel for dry skin has saved mine. Clinique's moisturizer for dry skin works really well too.
I have a beauty/mom blog where I talk about a bunch of these things in case anyone is ever interested. But for now I'll just share on here.

^yes! Thank you! Yeah my gramma is really big on making sure the makeup was dermatologist approved and so I got my makeup from the brand Clinique and since my skin is on the dryer side the lady there gave me some moisturizer and stuff to use.

I guess the ultimate goal for me was feeling beautiful with no make-up. That confidence didn't come for a long while. I put in a few decades of 'make-up dependence' and then met a brilliant aesthetician and shifted my focus away from make-up and onto good skin care.
Cetaphil face wash Obaji 50+ sunscreen Obaji vitamin C serum Peter Thomas Roth vitamin K eye gel
Because I'm old, Retin-A & lactic acid peels now and again.
And that's it really.

^^ yes! Can't stress the importance of a vitamin c serum as part of your skincare routine enough. For night, I use skinceuticals c e ferulic and it had worked wonders for me as far as anti aging, and keeping my skin smooth. There are inexpensive knockoffs of the skinceuticals one on Amazon, just FYI. During the day, I use the drunk elephant c firma serum and it's amazing. Aside from its skincare properties, it has completely replaced primer for me. It keeps my foundation looking so fresh and crisp alllll day. Love love love it. Also ladies, never go without sunscreen, even when it's overcast outside. Unless you wanna look like Coline at age 30 If you have finicky, breakout prone skin like me, check out EltaMD clear spf 46. Foundation wise, I love Marc jacobs remarcable for full coverage days. Bear in mind, I've got really oily skin. I can see it being really drying and unflattering for dryer skin types. For drugstore foundation, revlon colorstay whipped is the SHIT...esp at its price point. This one has, by far, outperformed all the midrange foundations that I have. Once it sets, it doesn't budge. Eta: if you wanna get serious about your skincare regimen, check out r/skincareaddiction. Wealth of knowledge there..

Speaking of good skin care, my under eye circles have become severely dark since becoming a mom. The normal things I used to use just aren't cutting it. Tips and recommendations?

I feel your pain. I think I've used every eye cream under the sun...I went hog wild once and even bought a 3Lab one. I started using one by Belif a few months ago...it's the peat miracle one (green jar) and it seriously has made a difference in the undereye darkness department. The puffiness is still there, tho It's a pretty good value bc it's .85 oz, as opposed to .5 oz like most eye creams. I also like the Skyn Iceland eyecream for darkness, but it is not as moisturizing. The most moisturizing one I've tried is the Shiseido Benefiance...

Great tips!
I've always been slack with a skin care regime. I have sensitive skin so would often find a lot of products too harsh. However, have always put sunscreen on (just normal stuff) if going out in the sun for long periods of time as I burn really easily. However, recently I have started using cetaphil daily moisturiser with SPF.
In the last week, I've started breaking out as I've switched birth control methods so just yesterday purchased Aveeno Radiant Cleanser to use every day. Will see how that goes!

Just thought I'd come and say that I usually use Anastasia Beverly Hills brow wiz or brow definer for my brows but I ran out and had to order another one. While waiting for it to arrive, I have been trying out the Nyx micro brow pencil and their tame and frame pomade and I gotta say, the pencil is a pretty good dupe for the ABH brow wiz š Not sure about the pomade, because I've never used a one before, but it's not bad! So if anyone is looking for affordable brow products, maybe give the Nyx stuff a go!

I've used Elf before, but I'm just not thrilled, especially with their felt eyeliner sticks..

I like it granted I have never tried any other pomade but it's so inexpensive there's really nothing to lose.

I'm not a fan of Elf tbh, the only product that I have ever liked is the moonlight pearls highlighter, because it gives a nice subtle glow, which I like for just everyday wear. And it's ridiculously cheap lol. Be sure to give us a rundown though if you happen to try them š Lol

So unfortunately I have a very expressive forehead (and by expressive I mean it wrinkles a lot when I make certain faces). I've watched enough Coaleen to now be terrified that by the time I'm also in my early 30's my forehead will look like hers!! Anyone have any tips on how to prevent that?
