This. Also, I don't think Chris' HBO clip reel is going to get him any work in the entertainment industry. He had no experience, but was suddenly a writer/exec producer. I've said this here, before -- he doesn't have the life experience to write characters or the experience to be on another series. So where does that leave him? Their YouTube channel -- the desperation is real, folks. He's not likely to go back to being a musician and he's not going to be brought onto another series (at least one that doesn't involve the fading Miranda/Colleen). I agree that by "editing" she's sharing an office space with the actual editor and that it is no way contractual (unless she herself made it a requirement). Clearly their (Colleen's and Chris') arrogance and self confidence doomed HBO, which was in desperate need of the guidance of professionals. I think the second season will be the last unless they've really integrated some very necessary elements; it doesn't seem likely though. Colleen doesn't understand the concept of a "best friend." I think she's very lucky she's able to share her success with her family and friends and have them join her on trips -- it seems like that's why Jessica and Chris are ensuring everyone has their passports. I ALSO get the sense that they may be testing the water to see if they should be holding meet-and-greets in those European, etc. locations. She really shouldn't have them in her show (and I say this as someone who has seen her shows; the stage is packed and it's like a "let's put on a show" which is ultimately very disrespectful to audience/fans who pay so much money to see a real show). I'm not sure what J/C and family will do in regards to "performance." That said, did anyone go to Rachel's show or read any reviews of it? What did she do?? l Truth be told, HBO could have been a fantastic show. It could have either appealed to teens OR adults, however instead of getting a quality show consistent of what Miranda is all about, we got this weird mix of something that didn't feel like Miranda, nor did it feel like something for teens. But BECAUSE of the characters, it didn't appeal to adults either. I think this is due to Colleen and Chris not letting go of the reigns. Neither of them actually know their teen demographic, they don't know how to write shows, neither of them are comedians so all this "it's funny" hype was totally wrong. It's dark, it's humourless, it's soulless and there are no redeeming characters. Not even her sister. I think that Colleen's lack of enthusiasm for this season isn't because she hates the show, but because Netflix cracked the whip and took away some of her "creative" freedom. I imagine she was somewhat like the kid who talked too much in school. She bothered the directors, the camera men and anyone she could chat to. This season it's a revolving door of people she can't be "omg bffs" with. I think her cast also felt it too. I'd love to know why she was so pushed aside this season by her cast. Fran never hangs with her (she was in canada for a good while after and was hanging out with Veronica from riverdale), Angela is awol, so is steve little. What did she do to make EVERYONE so disinterested in promoting HBO? I made a note to myself to specifically watch episode 4 of season 2, because in a recent vlog while she walking home she claimed again that EVERYONE was laughing hysterically because it's SOoOoOo funny. Last year she said the same thing, but I couldn't remember which episode was supposed to be such a crack up. It doesn't matter I guess, because I don't think I laughed out loud at any point in the season.. As stated previously, the show is very dark. What confuses me about that though, is Colleen has potty humor, Chris likes puns and dad humor, so I find it hard to imagine either of them find HBO laugh out loud funny. |

Not just a lurker or defending her but like he's ihateukes or something? i thought the exact same thing when I saw that snap! It would be amazing if he was one of us. I'm sure he's not though - the queent probably has spyware or something on his computer to make sure he's not leaking the secrets of the kingdom. Edited to add: I'm amused and slightly concerned that both my phone and my computer have stopped trying to autocorrect me when I type queent. |

She's getting thinner and thinner. I'm hoping she's lying and she does work out and eat a normal diet and that's why she's lost weight. She says it's her metabolism but for the majority of her life she was just a normal slender girl. She needs to be careful and watch herself mentally because anorexia can sneak up on you from controlled to crazy in a blink of an eye. As much as I don't like Colleen,I don't want to see her end up like Eugenia Cooney.

Colleen's latest crying vlog. What I see is someone having this amazing AMAZING BLAH BLAH time in her life with no one to share it with. Chris bailed to be a stage dad. Rachel moved out and hasn't been to Canada. Her friends and parents didn't visit Canada like last year. Kory has a new friend. Erik is in LA.... hopefully reconciling with his pretty ex girlfriend. Her numbers are slipping. People *us* are on to her. Haters Back Off is probably stinking up the place and she knows the critics and fans are going to hate it. And, worst of all, she tossed aside like trash her #1 fan, Josh, who is slowly but surely coming out of his Colleen nightmare and living his life, and looking delish, by the way. You know how you can look at a baby and tell he or she is tired? I look at Colleen and see someone all alone. And, that's what she deserves. Funny how this worked out IRL because, ***spoilers***, this is how S1 of HBO ends. She's all alone, with no one to feed her gargantuan ego. |

Couldn't stand her period video. Super cringey similar to the shower video. Not funny. She needs to collab with Kory again - those were actually funny. In fact, the last thing I laughed at on her psychosoprano channel was Kory imitating the annoying fans on the phone.

~ Chris knows they are going to Disney. Writes some stupid chart a few days ago...but FORGETS THEIR YEARLY PASSES TO DISNEY. The kids had to settle for some mock up of a future Star Wars ride. (I'd rather stay at the hotel pool.) Bailey and Parker are over. it.
~Chris FORGETS to charge his Go Pro, so they had to actually do an activity, swim, without being recorded by Cecille B. DeForgetFace
~Okay. Calm me down. These kids are up at the crack ass of dawn to be dragged to some dream convention for Chris. They swim. So, instead of going to a fun, delicious restaurant at Downtown Disney, they are doing HOTEL DINNER. Meaning, per Chris, they are just pulling together leftovers from camping that they had left in their room. The kids are snarfing down oatmeal. Now, I love oatmeal, and the first thing that I take into any hotel room are snacks...but, TAKE THESE KIDS OUT TO DINNER YOU IDIOT MORONS. FEED YOUR KIDS.
I really should make myself wait 30 minutes to post after watching a vlog. Sorry not sorry for yelling. These people are the worst.

Some other things that bother me about her period vid are
1. How can you confuse menses with poop?
2. Why did she look so horrified when she smelled it and it wasn't poop? Surely, it didn't smell worse than poop.
3. Do most mothers not prepare their daughters for this? Why did it take so long to figure out her period started?
4. This was not realistic at all. I know she had to make a whole video about it, but it could have been done better. It wasn't funny or clever.

I'll admit a lot of my friends thought they'd pooped themselves when they had their first period- our sexual education wasn't very good and our mothers did not prepare us enough. I was 13 when mine started, hid it for 2 months and eventually told my mother I thought I was dying when it happened the third time- admittedly I was diagnosed with endometriosis last year which explained years of incredibly painful, heavy and lengthy periods. I was put on the pill by my mother when I was 16 primarily for dysmenorrhea. Not everybody gets sexual education and I wouldn't be surprised if Colleen's and Rachel's was lacking due to their parents. |

She is saying that she hates that everyone calls periods gross and stuff and how women should be allowed to talk about them if they want because guys get to talk about boners and stuff? OKAY:

- as a girl who has a period I will proudly tell you that they are in fact pretty gross... I don't know about any of you grannies but I don't exactly enjoy my period?
- also SOME PEOPLE MAY JUST NOT CARE ABOUT TALKING ABOUT THEIR PERIOD!
- there are people who *GASP* don't openly talk about their bodily functions and fluids and gas because *GASP* not everyone has that type of humor or they just don't wanna talk about it.
- people don't openly talk about periods for the same reason not everyone constantly talks about sex...the whole world doesn't really care if your on your period nor that you just got laid last night and you can talk to people who can actually relate and want to talk about that..yep there are these people most girls have that they call their "girlfriends"...yup!...an actual close group of girls who are friends thatcan help and give advice and stuff...but you only really have kory so I think that may not be quite the same....
- Guys at my school don't always talk about boners....when they do they are making jokes about them in there group of guy friends when they think no one is listening....they aren't always walking down the hallway making dick jokes and sex jokes and stuff because not all of them have a 12 year old mentality like yourself. (I am aware it may be different for y'all grannies) And this is coming from a soon to be sophomore...
ETA: I just wanna add that and I know some of y'all may not agree with that last point but I wanna let y'all know that I am aware that the guys where your from may act differently but that is just my experience from FRESHMAN guys at my high school this past year. I AINT TRYING TO TRIGGER ANYONE 😂

I think Chris has hit a new low feeding the kids fucking oatmeal for dinner. Did they not pass a drive through restaurant on the way to the Hotel? Are there no restaurants/food stands at the section of Disney they were at? The kids were out in the heat for a while, they need more to eat than oatmeal.

Omg I came here to comment on the oatmeal too. Wtf! I bet you Jessica was having a mommy's night out feasting on a bounty of crab legs and lobsters, and going on a shopping spree at the downtown Disney Sephora...while her kids were eating fucking plain oatmeal made in a coffee maker, sitting on the floor of a hotel room.
I so want to take the ballinger kids out to eat copious amounts of delicious food!
Eta: there are SO MANY family friendly restaurants in the area that are walking distance from their hotel..
