I remember this one!!! She said something along the lines of "this is my boyfriend Julien who everyone hates though I don't know why because ever since I met him he's treated me nicer than anyone and I haven't had to open a door for myself once but whatever" I went wooooow shade, you're over the haters lolololololol.

I mean I think that's true though in vlogs and stuff he always opens the door for her and opens the car door. I know it's a little thing but not many guys do that consistently and it's a sweet caring gesture.

LOL I like Julien. I just thought it was funny her comment in that video. I agree he is a sweetheart to her. But when she made that comment I think it was clear she couldn't hide how annoyed she was over the hate about him. I wasn't saying she was being rude. She was just clearly fed up. Cause I think that was the first time she publicly called him her boyfriend lol.

I don't think she officially announced Julien as her boyfriend until this video. It was assumed and pretty obvious but I swear this is the cutest moment ever. 5:20 in. I think I feel extra nostalgia for this though because I tweeted her a couple questions for this video that didn't make it, but it is the day she followed me and GOALS GUYS THIS MEANT SO MUCH. Haha. I'm such a fan girl. I mean I cried a little when I met her that's what a fan girl I am but anyways. There's a bit more to that.

That was me...and I'll have to dig for which of Julians 80000 he says it in. For some reason, I *think* it when he gave her a gift. He mentioned that he was bartending at a place Jenna frequented. And that they had started dating on the down low around her birthday. Which iirc, is in Sept.. She was for sure still living with Max at end of October, because she made their awesome Halloween costumes.
The reason I remember what he said so well..was frankly, because I was shocked that Jenna would entertain even the mere concept of infidelity, much less engage in it in any form.
Also because I thought Julian was just a quick rebound guy. His first appearance in any of Jenna's videos was just his bicep in a shower scene. I remember everyone, including myself, thinking it was Max. (oh Jenna you trolled us good with that one)
I love Jenna.. I think she's one of the few famous YouTubers that is actually genuine. She DOES care about her fans. And she's so clever, innovative and cute.
If she did step out on Max..itc was Kinda uncool. But they were obviously having issues or she wouldn't have been tempted. I do think there is some truth to the brad the lad story. The only thing Max has said on the topic of the breakup was that he didn't cheat..and they broke up because jenna didn't feel like he was as supportive of her as he should have been. The latter being why I think the 'brad the lad' story has some legs to it.
And just my hunch..but I don't think Max knew about jenna and Julian seeing each other until well after he and jenna broke up.
I'll attempt to find the video Julian let's the down low story slip out.

I wonder if it was more of an emotional affair and she started becoming closer to Julien while she was still dating Max instead of a situation where they were sneaking around and actually going on dates.

I know everyone assumed Jenna's tweet about piggybacking off her channel and cheating was about Max, and it may well have been..but based in anger and not in truth. Max was with Jenna a long time before he started a channel, and as I recall, it was at her urging. And if they broke up in Nov/Dec..Im not sure how he could have "cheated" on her when She tweeted that comment. I always kinda thought maybe She had wanted to get back with him, and by then, he had found out about Julien or just didn't think they should..and She tweeted that just to get at him.
Im one of the nutballs that still romanticize the days of Jenna and Max. Im not terribly fond of Julien..Hes not a bad guy..he just seems really immature and not the brightest bulb in the box. And honestly I would think Jenna isn't mentally or intellectually stimulated by him enough to marry him..but i also didn't think they'd last this long, so i was wrong with that prediction.
I adore Brittney..she and Max are really cute together and its obvious that she is crazy about him.

I know that in Feb 2013, (Jenna and Max broke up early Dec 2012) Julien went to Ireland with Jenna and her Mom. He was supposedly employed as her "security", but according to Julien's own words they had been dating since Jenna's birthday in Sept 2012.

I think Brittany and Max are a match so perfect. Even the story on how the met is so Max. I like in his draw my life video he did thank Jenna and wished her well. His videos are still funny honestly. And Brittany has some funny videos too.

So this is interesting, I went to go find a video on Jenna's channel and it is gone. Flat out gone. I know it was up for a long time though, and she got CRUCIFIED for this. This video appeared the week after her "drunk makeup tutorial extras" when she was too sad to make a full video, and the week before the drunk Christmas tree decorating when she officially announced that yes, her and Max did break up. I think this is what spurred a lot of the cheating accusations to Max because she seems to circle back a lot to "sluts" sleeping with other people's boyfriends. It's what throws me off so much that she would have stepped out on him because she seems so outraged at cheating. I mean it could be a front but Jenna seems to usually keep it pretty real whether her opinions are popular or not. I found the video on someone else's channel.

Now see, going with the Julien is a bit immature angle I have to agree. I mean I'll admit Jenna can be immature too at times but she knows when to turn it on and off. I don't think Julien does. He can be serious. I'm not saying he can't be. There are just sometimes where I find myself fast forwarding when he tends to joke about something when I feel there isn't a need to joke about. And then there are times when he gets too serious and I'm just like okay it's not that bad.
