I can hardly stand to hate watch anymore, I'm bored! Even when she's in LA her content and vlogs are boring.
One thing I did notice during their taco night was how Erik was hardly included in the footage. She acknowledged that he was there (and looking miserable), but that was it. He looks like a big dud, and definitely doesn't fit in with Gabbie and Manny's personalities.

Erik always seems annoyed when he's in Colleen's vlogs. I think he's really uncomfortable being filmed (aside from acting obvs). I wonder if that'll end up being an issue if/when they come out as a couple.

Omg.... I just want to scream at Chris and Jessica..feed ALL your kids healthy meals!!
Parker and Bailey made "breakfast" smoothies for themselves and Parker while Chris and Jessica stayed in bed?! Its obvious chris and Jessica are shoveling plenty of food into their faces. Why can't they feed their own children? Im guessing this was the same day that they also posted about rolling in at 11pm and the kids hadnt had dinner yet. It legit hurts me to think of growing kids being hungry. And makes me furious.
They "nazi-parent" the kids about no television and the kids have to earn watching a movie on a laptop..but apparently when it comes to nutrition and making sure your kids are fed enough, all rules are out the window.
And ffs...clean your new house. The same shit has been on the floor since move in..stuff just gets added to it.

There were too many shots of Bailey reading a book at IKEA, it just seemed so forced and fake to me. I can see Chris telling her to keep switching places and positions just for the Vlog. Like I know Bailey loves to read and that's awesome, but it all just seemed so exaggerated... just like everything else they do nowadays...

It's such a weird and backwards thing to ban tv. Firstly that shit will be something they will always be behind in. They will never have that special little nostalgia bond. Secondly, are Chris and Jess are probably banning it because their kids aren't as well behaved as they make out, and would fight over the tv. So instead of actually parenting, they ban it.

The Ballinger's won't allow their kids to watch tv, but they make the kids star in YouTube videos. Crazy.

It's odd that they are entertainers (and everyone else in the family is too) but they teach their children that the consumption of tv is a negative thing. Are they saying that their viewers are stupid or lazy for spending their time watching youtube? What makes watching Miranda or the Ballingers so much better than watching TV? I can think of tons of kids shows that would be a lot more beneficial and educational than watching a family grow mould in their kitchen and not feed their children.

I find it weird how many times they have smoothies for meals.  I know it's fruit and maybe so vegetables so it's relatively healthy but when I have a smoothie for a meal I'm hungry again really soon.  Maybe it's a California thing...
Also, it was odd that they were watching the movie crowded around a laptop - do they not even own a TV? That's probably a good thing because it seems like Messica and Chris would just let the kids watch it all the time.

^^ it's not a California thing. I think it's just lazy parenting at its finest. Like others have mentioned here, im always amazed at how little they feed their kids. I feel hunger pangs on their behalf lol. when they have a party or BBQ, the amount of food they serve is so scant. I can recall chris cooking like a 2lb roast for 30 ppl for their xmas shindig...everyone had one bite of meat on their plate. Seems to be how they roll. messi jessi gets to go HAM on crab legs and the 15 candy bars chris brought her from Canada, while Bailey eats a 1/2 cup of quinoa and a carrot stick for dinner, and dunki ODs on mommy milk.

Plot twist: maybe Jessica was all pissed at Coline during the 4th bc chris let her eat one of her candy bars. 😂

Does anyone remember when they spent the night at the Bellissimo (sp?) house?  The Ballinger kids were beside themselves at the breakfast table with enough food, and more, for everyone. 

And, I agree about the tv thing. They let them watch stupid Haters Back Off with the daddy saddled Uncle Jim, but Sesame Street is off limits? 

Saw this comment on the ballingers vlog. So basically Jessica sat down and watched Jacob sort through her stuff for her. Seriously. Can this woman be any lazier? It's not like Duncan needs to be held and nursed constantly!!

I think it was awhile back, but you mentioned their most recent half assed BBQ and I was dying bc I noticed the same thing: one bite of tri tip, two strawberries and a few pretzel sticks. Like wtf! Quit it with the janky BBQ and clean yo house! Smh

I think Jessica nurses so often to get out of having to do anything. That way Chris can make her breakfast, Jacob can sort through things, and she doesn't have to unpack or lift a finger with anything. Like yeah, the baby has to eat, but I think she uses it to her advantage a little too.

I think they're trying so hard to be these like new age hippie LA parents that don't let their kids consume technology, homeschool them, make smoothies and kombucha, etc etc. But the gag is that they aren't personally like that at all Jessica binge watches netflix (for God's sake Chris CREATED a netflix show) but the kids can't watch tv, Chris gets a 5000 calorie chocolate sad excuse for a coffee every time they go to disney world and the kids get to share two bite brownie, they want the kids to be smart and worldly and knowledgeable yet the furthest they've travelled is to magic mountain and they can't even access the internet to learn about the world around them, they hardly cook them food they take them to restaurants every other day (which is neither healthy of a good use of money). I think the way they feed them is because they think it's healthy and they want to avoid the childhood obesity/diabetes pandemic but they don't understand that too little food doesn't mean healthy. They can eat a good amount of food that is healthy and nutritious. When was the last time these kids had any protein??? I never see them eat meat or a significant amount of meat alternatives. Bailey and Jake are going to be going through growth spurts soon and they're going to have no fuel or energy.

That was it!!  LOL. I felt hungry too!  I wouldn't be critical if it was a money issue. Heck, I'd donate a Kroger card. 

I'm repeating myself, but do they ever sit down at the table at home as a family? The only time I have ever seen them eating together at home was during the Bean Boozle challenge.

This is probably why they get sick every other week. They don't have the proper nutrition to support a healthy immune system.

I was listening to Shane Dawson's podcast the other day and he was saying that YouTube has basically gone to shit and no one's making any money so a lot of YouTubers are setting up Patreon pages so their fans can donate to them. So if you think they're the Beggingers now...
I also have a thought, do you think the reason that Colleen tours so much and charges such exorbitant prices for her shows is because she'll pool all her tour money for her family to live off? I mean they can't make THAT much money

One thing I meant to mention about Collie's 4th of July vlog.. While she was busy calling it janky, first thing out of sweet Trent's mouth was how it was "very different without Grandpa". He seems so sweet.. I bet he misses Joshua too..Josh seemed like the only person that actively engaged with him. I *think*Trent still follows Josh on social media and vice versa.

Man I couldn't agree more. It's like they project these bullshit ideals and way of life onto their kids, that they don't have the discipline to uphold. It's so hypocritical.

Just let kids be kids. They're so fucking sheltered. They should know by now that shielding their children from all things secular doesn't make for a well rounded individual. Case in point: coline...as she dry humps one of her gays on the beach...

Colleen is in Gabbie's new vlog. They are singing sober then drunk. (Colleen sounds the same both.) Gabbie sounds good! This was taco night and apparently Gabbie knew not to film Erik. To be fair, she didn't film much of Kory or Manny either. Colleen looks uncomfortable the whole time.

Just watched part of that but got bored. I agree that Colleen looked really uncomfortable, especially when Gabbie started climbing all over her. (I can't blame her though; I don't like people invading my personal space either.)
