Hi everyone,

I've lurked from GG and the bakery, and this will probably be my only post. Apologies if it's a long one haha.
I found Miranda through the Free Voice Lesson video years ago, as I was really into theatre and people on Facebook were posting it/discussing it. I went to see what I think was her first show in London (in 2009). I just found an article on BroadwayWorld about it (www.broadwayworld.com/westend/article/MIRANDA-SINGS-At-The-Ambassadors-20090605), and her description has stuff she'd never say now!: "My inspirations are britney spears, avril lavigne, Spice Girls (i know they are old school, but they have so much talent!), and of course Josh Groban. I hope you enjoy my singing!"

I went with a friend, it was £15, had quite a few West End performers and we hung around afterwards and she came out the stage door with maybe 10/15 other people and we got a picture. There have been a few times since where I've thought about going to shows, but they are so expensive! I've moved abroad and she just said she's coming to NZ/Australia. Tickets are $55! When I went to the show I was a teenager and £15 seemed reasonable to see her and some other performers. But you could see a good West End show for the price of her show now! And I agree with what others have said - it's quite insulting to openly say you don't plan your shows until the day before, and the first few audiences are basically guinea pigs.

I was subscribed to Josh back when he had his old channel, and remember the break up. I always thought Josh was a bit cringey but wanted him to do well. I can't believe some of the stuff these kids say to him. My friends and I did some stupid things online when we were young, but that was before we really knew what the internet was (given this was about 10 years ago). It makes me glad social media wasn't really around when I was growing up!

And going from that point, I remember when Bailey was about 3 and saying hilarious things. I think those kids are going to...struggle when they're teenagers. Also, I agree about unpacking the house! I've never moved a full house of stuff and don't have any kids, but I've moved a lot for uni/travel, and you have to just get it over and done with!

My final point, and a very minor one: it's always bugged me that Colleen puts liquid eyeliner under her bottom lashes. It looks so harsh haha.

EXACTLY! I am all for showing off and feeling confident with your body! Like if you have it flaunt it...but her thinness isn't okay. We've all talked about it. I even showed a picture of her to my gramma And I just asked what she thought and she said..."that is not healthy...(it was the picture where the minions were saying she had abs) she doesn't have abs at all....those are petruding ribs." There is no way that a 30 year old who is probably like 5 foot 4 inches (guessing..she could be taller) should weigh 110 pounds. I'm almost 5 foot 1 inches and I weigh 125ish and yeah I ain't no Barbie doll but I'm not even close to obese either and my doctors say my body is fine ...if she were to gain like 5-10 pounds I think it would do wonders. My best friend first introduced me to Miranda Sings in probably 2014-2015. Then we started watching Colleen & Josh's channels. I remember when he announced he was doing year of vlogs I was so excited to get to see into their life way more. I'm so glad he vlogged everyday because you can now go back and see so many red flags along the way.
While Colleen was filming in Canada, I remember I told my best friend that their relationship seemed really off and I felt like things were getting rocky. Then like two weeks before they announced their divorce I remember saying to my friend that I feel like they are going to be getting divorced soon and then bam...two weeks later their divorce videos were out.
I've definitely sided with Josh through the whole thing, but it would be nice to hear her side of the story. That'll probably never happen though. (Although it would be hard to believe her since she seems to lie a lot. The most recent example when she says she feeds Gus the amount the vet tells her to, but in a different video when she's at the airport she says he's used to eating a thousand times a day)
Also, am I the only one who goes back and watches their old videos wishing they were still together even though I know he's way too good for her. 😂

Has anyone watched colleens latest vlog? There's a part where Parker grabs Duncan by the top of the head, it isn't like hard or anything. It DAMN TEACH THAT BOY ABOUT THE SOFT SPOT!

I have a feeling that Colleen felt that Josh was extremely clingy and not very ambitious (no thanks to her), which made her feel like he didn't understand her career.

And i mean, i can see that. I can see how someone like her would feel smothered by someone like josh (not that josh is bad) but yeesh. don't marry him then!

I used to be a fan. Since reading the bakery and here obviously my eyes are opened. So, anyway, a couple years back Miranda came to the Melbourne international comedy festival and I bought a Meet and Greet because it was cheap af at $40. She just announced more dates for Aus/NZ and now she's charging $55 for show only and $99.90 for M&G??? Girl where do you get off charging that much? Cause you got Netflix now? Last time Joshua, Rachel, Teeny and her Mum all came and were even part of the show but now you wanna charge that much for just you? Girl bye.

Also as much as I stan for Josh now because hi, I'm garbage, he didn't come to that M&G cause he had to go upload his daily vlog I had brought him a kale bouquet and everything which made it into the next day's vlog but still

Literally ikr. When we had went it was: you line up, go hug Colleen, give her a gift if you've got one, Teeny took the photos, then off you went. Rachel and Gwen were off to the side where you could also take a selfie with them and say hi but because of the festival and other shows happening, security was rushing everyone through and telling the very loud kids to stfu. 
I think she does it before the show now with a Q and A session? So you can go and *hang out and be besties* before the show and ask some questions then go line up for your photo and come back for the show later =/ Like, I wasn't mad at $40 for a meet and greet cause I was a fan. Needless to say I'll be skipping this show completely

I wonder if Colleen reads the reviews of the Miranda show on Ticketmaster. There are quite a few ones saying that the content is inappropriate for her young audience. She probably dismisses them all as 'haters'. But what always confused me about her shows is that it's the same recycled crap every time. She may change a small element now and then, but it's overall the same concept. I don't understand why more people don't complain about this...don't they they get tired of seeing the same shit?? And homegirl goes on tour every couple months. No wonder she can barely sell tickets anymore, people are burnt out. For someone who has been doing this for so many years, you'd think she would have more common sense.

THIS!!! and how she's always touring the SAME show for like 6/7 years!!! Like no wonder your ticket sales are dropping because anyone who ever wanted to see it already has and they don't wanna be paying £80 to see the same no budget school drama club half assed production

She'd be SO much better off if she took some proper time off touring to rework her miranda/colleen image. Come up with ideas for vids, stage shows etc. I don't understand why she feels work=being stressed

You know, when I learned about Miranda she was already touring with a show, and at the time I thought wow, this woman is able to tour an entire one woman production all over the world, and being a theatre general manager I know how fucking hard and all-consuming it is to have a touring show, with everything from having the set designed and produced, to having to transport it, to managing staff, stage managers, contracts, liaising with venues, negotiating ticket prices, merchandise, promotion… all of it. It is a very huge deal.

Then through her crummy vlogs I found out that

- There is no set
- Props are bought the day before in a 7/11 shop with her family members, who then work overnight to glue glitter on pompoms or whatever
- She has no trouble saying that she has no idea what she’s gonna do, and films herself in front of her laptop ‘writing’ what appears to be a high school talent show set up by that teacher everybody hates
- She only employs her family members and friends who do all the boring work for her (contracts, tour management, etc)
- In a video she even said once that she is ignorant about what tickets sales prices are, because she’s not the one who sets the price. This means that no matter how many tickets the show sells, the venue pays her a fixed amount for each show (a show fee rather than a box office split), so Cowleen has literally never given one single fuck about what people have to cough up to hear her screaming for an hour. Which I find mind boggling – not even knowing what is being charged to your audience is one of the biggest signs of unprofessionalism and ignorance on an artist’s/producer’s part. I don’t remember what vlog it was, but sales were low and comments were saying that the show was too expensive and she was like OMG really? I had no idea, I’ll do you the huge favour of informing myself on how much you bunch of teenagers need to ask from your parents to come worship my tiny body.
