I said this before, but Netflix was ALL OVER VidCon last year promoting that steaming heap, Haters Back Off. This year... *crickets.* I noticed Colleen's normal speaking voice when she is getting ready to go on stage for the Q&A. As soon as she walks out onto the stage, her voice goes way, way up to fake tones. "Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. OMerGawdILoveYouSoMuch". And, in Colleen's vlog,no mention of the 7th Ballinger at the Meet and Greet, Rachel's stupid book. I'll wait until the movie version of What Pisses Me Off comes out.  |

I couldn't remember. Doesn't sound like we are being too nitpicky. They are crazy for taking that baby to VidCon. I googled and found this: As a pediatrician in the ER, I can say the reason we say 2 months is to protect the baby. any infant under the age of 6 weeks with a fever will automatically get a septic work-up (inculding a spinal tap) and admitted to the hospital for at least 36 hours. Because their immune system is so weak they are at risk for serious infections, with little signs except fever. Every season has its "bug" that causes fevers, whether it is RSV, Flu, rotavirus or coxsackie virus. If you are able to prevent people from getting all in the babies face, and especially touching their hands (why do people like to do that anyway?) then it helps. But, most viruses are spread via droplets you can's always see, or are even aware they went flying into your baby's face. The risk is real, I see it alot. Most of the time the baby is fine, but the few times they aren't can be devastating. I personally waited until 6weeks until I went out into public areas. I think what jessica did was dangerous. For me I'm pretty laid back and my mom would help me with going to Target or to the store for a nursing bra when my baby was newly born. I was only out for a few hours, but my baby was always with us and when I needed to nurse, I would go sit down somewhere private (one place had a special nursing area). To each their own. But Jessica, if she REALLY HAD TO BE AT VIDCON, instead of sitting out the meet and greet or even leaving to nurse definitely put Duncan at risk with all those teenagers approaching them. No doubt some of them asked to see Duncan. Really sad she put him at risk like that. I'm late here but agreed. I'm pretty open to taking my baby out but I would never take him to somewhere like vidcon that young. Even with the shots and boosters, his immunity is still weak. |

I just watched John Oliver's segment on vaccinations and I can totally see Jess and Chris being anti vac. In fact, I can totally see them go right off the deep end and join the fucking Scientology cult. They seem like the kind of parents who grew up ignorant and are happy to spread that ignorance. I'd love to know what they're actually teaching their children and how that holds up to school curriculum. I'd also love to know how much their religion influences their education/daily lives. All I'm saying is, I've known parents with the same smug attitude who home school and they're usually also whack jobs. Isnt there some sort of inspection or tests or assessment in the US to check the kids are where they should be with their ed? Don't you have like a local govt school inspector/board? Is getting an education a legal requirement like it is here in the uk? |

In mine, parents have to be "supervised" by a school district (public, private, religious, etc.) They have certain subject requirements and probably have check points required by whomever is supervising them. Homeschool children have to take the GED rather than earning a diploma. Edit: According to homeschooling authorities, homeschoolers in California have four basic options for teaching their children at home: File an affidavit to function as a private school. Enroll in a private school satellite homeschool program. Have home instruction provided by a certified tutor. Enroll in an independent study program at home using homeschool curricula. **I think the Ballingers do the second option |

i love how todrick kinda shaded her in her vidcon vlog saying "this is like the most you've ever done on stage" just cause she had to learn a 20 second rap and had some choreography bahahaha Yasssssss!!!!! Actually..it seems like a LOT of more well known youtubers shaded her ass this year. Her vlog was very chopped up..she had to cut right before people said stuff she didn't want in. Not sure what chris was saying to jojo after she slimed him..but you can hear Jojo say "if you even dare touch me........"before collie cut it off. And did you catch collie saying they weren't able to get passes for the kids to come. It had nothing to do with actually special security..it had to do with chris got 1 "guest" pass and that went to jessica (and teet conjoined Duncan). And im pretty sure i saw a snap of Collie unsuccessfully out trying to find a party the night after she posted 'who needs parties when you have Duncan' Instagram. |

Anyway, Philip DeFranco made a REALLY interesting point in his video today. Reminded me a lot of Coaleen. Starts around the 8:00 mark.

This is the first time I've watched an iJustine video and it's of her Vidcon recap. I'm amazed at how many youtubers she conversed with and how personable she was with them. She didn't see fake at all. Quite the opposite of the queen of queefs.
