As a business model it makes sense though. They don't want to risk views being drifted away from the company's channel. Hence why Freddie can't go on Saf's videos anymore.

When I was at Buffer Festival they did a screening of Vlogumentary which for part of it featured Gaby Dunn formerly of Buzzfeed. It was an interesting watch (really the whole movie was except the fact I cannot stay Shay Carl and he's a major focus).

I think cause she's not from a regular YouTube perspective. She didn't start YouTube just cause. She started because of her company (though she did have a channel on the side when she was still with buzzfeed. its nuts that you have to leave to be able to do youtube though In a way it's good though. I mean it sucks that buzzfeed owns any and all things you made for them but look at Chris's channel. I forget his last name but the one from buzzfeed. You can see how much buzzfeed was holding him back from being truly creative because they force their creators to do every aspect of a production. What also sucks is that Saf worked so hard to make Lady Like but it seems like she wasn't given the freedom or access to what she needed to make it what she wanted but now that she's gone, Lady Like has their own channel and more. |

Safiya just asked her fans to tag YouTubers they feel she should collab with. There were some Gabbie Show, Thomas Sanders, Jenna Marbles, RCLBeauty, Rhett and Link, anddddd... Colleen 😒🙄 I think saf will realize their styles won't match up for the video she'd want on her channel. And also I think Colleen is too lazy lol

A Youtube channel I really have liked recently is Karlee & Conner. They mainly do prank videos and I find them pretty entertaining! It's also interesting to see two young people trying to be successful on youtube  They're doing a pretty good job considering they almost have 700k. |

^^ yeah what happened to him? He made an update video but I don't remember much of it since it's been a while since I've watched it. He probably was going through heavy depression but I think he's working on it, hence the hiatus. You could look at his instagram in the meantime if you do want happier little doses of him. |

^I miss Drew! But I'm glad to see hes hanging with Elijah and Christine and that crew. He seems to be having fun and its a nice treat to see him in a video. I loved reading his comments on his videos too. His videos about depression are dark but I am glad that he brought awareness to the subject and is honest about it. If videos like that make him feel better Im totally ok with that.

WhealthBySlaiman (Aussies! Honestly started following because of his girlfriend Kate, not gonna lie)
DK4L (De'arra & Ken 4 Life - De'arra is such a freakin cutie and cracks me up)
The ACE Family (They have some hilarious videos...their daughter is adorable!)
Kaelin & Kyrah (Another youtube couple that I love to watch, hehe...)
Today with Tray (Tray and his family have some really sweet vlogs. I have followed him and Keshia for awhile now.)
Cole & Savannah (recently got married, about a week or so ago, Savannah has a daughter named Everleigh from a previous relationship, and it's super sweet to watch Cole step in and take her as his own. They are really young, though, like in their early 20s, I believe. Even still, I support them!)
Exploring with Josh - Okay, I like the places he goes, but he has seriously THE WORST GRAMMAR ON PLANET EARTH and it annoys me sometimes, but it also cracks me up. You have to watch his series about when he goes to Chernobyl...it's amazing.
Gabe & Jess Conte (Gabe started out as a viner, they got married back in December, they're a sweet couple. Jess is from Australia, Gabe is from the US.)
They are mainly prankster couples. (Not all, though their pranks are more popular, probably.) But they also vlog and do challenges and whatnot, or beauty routines, etc.

Oh yes, and I don't know if it's already been mentioned, but the McClure Twins are another channel I've been following -- they are adorable little girls, and their parents do a great job putting together videos of them that don't feel like false constructions (like telling them what to say or do, using scripts), the parents will prompt them with certain questions as they film, but they're very organically little kids in the way they talk and process things. |

Oh yeah, and for anyone who loves unsolved mysteries and crime -- Criminally Listed is by far the best at showcasing the most obscure cases. Check them out!
Also, for creepy (supposedly true - submitted) stories -- Mr. Nightmare is still my fav. And the art channel Llama Arts illustrates some of the stories he narrates.
