I think I hate this even more than the comment about Tim being better. Literally made me nauseated.

Josh's new video made me . He seemed so genuinely happy and filled with love from his family and friends. I'm so glad he had such a good day, he needed it.

She/he thinks about it every single day... I wonder what happens to these kids when they grow up. Do they just become normal one day, all of a sudden, or they find new things to obsess about. "Back in my days" (I'm 27) someone like this would be labeled as a creepy stalker, and now it's a normal thing, they are "fans". It's normal to think about unknown person all day, their relationship, cry because they broke up, demand they get togther because you are broken, writting them all day... DO THESE KIDS GO TO SCHOOL?!

I guess Josh changed his mind about posting every day. (I have a strong feeling he's going to realize soon that YouTube isn't for him anymore.)

Life still goes on. He needs to learn that and stop treating a career that is literally one in a million (excuse the pun) like it's disposable. He's blowing his channel to mourn over a skeleton who doesn't care about him or his well being. It's harsh, but reality is, nobody else would be able to mope like he is and get away with it without losing their job etc.

It's harsh and i still feel bad for him, he's perfectly allowed to feel sad. but i think he needs a big wake up call

I agree. As someone with a 9-5 job, it drives me insane how neglectful YTers can be.

Y'all know I like Josh, but every time, he says he's going to do something, it lasts a few weeks (if that), and then he abandons it.

And I know he knows this about himself. He's said it himself. Yet still it happens over and over.

I agree with this so much. Like you said, it's harsh, but sometimes that's life. If he were working a "normal" 9-5 job, I wonder if he'd be having issues like this (being inconsistent) or not. I feel like having someone over him telling him what to do and holding him accountable might actually help him. I'd imagine you have to be a very self-disciplined person to successfully manage Youtube as a career and honestly, I don't see Josh being very good at self-discipline, especially not being in the state he's been in with everything that's happened in the past year or so (which is fine, we all have different things we're good at and things we're not good at, but if he really wants to make Youtube a priority he needs to work on improving in that area.)

This this this. Idk why YTers think that because of their platform they have the right to get away with whatever they want. Like yes it's awesome that they have this audience to create whatever they want. But that's not an excuse to treat the channel like a pestering step child

I've talked about my breakup before (which was very similar to Josh's). Like Josh and Colleen, my ex and I broke up twice. The first time, I started having meltdowns at work. One day, it was so bad, I told them I had to go home. And that day I realized, you cannot pull this shit. I sucked it up, regrouped, and it never affected work again.

The second time we broke up (years later), my coworkers were shocked when they found out because we'd already been broken up for a week or so, and they had no idea. Why? Because I stopped bringing that crap to work.

I realize Josh's career and personal life have very blurry lines - much blurrier than mine - but he needs to cope like the rest of us do and get his work done.

But, honestly, I'm so over YTers making more money than I'll probably see in a lifetime by basically doing jack squat, so...

I think it would be better for him to not rely on youtube as a fulltime gig. He needs to stop promising stuff like videos every day, also. He shouldn't put that pressure and expectation on himself to churn stuff out that he doesn't feel happy about. I think he should just use the big platform he has to promote his music videos and put creative stuff on the channel when he wants, but not go and promise daily videos to anyone. Youtube is such a finicky and tricky situation to support your entire livelihood on. The guy should look into finding a consistent work environment where Colleen has no ties to. I also feel like having all these memories of Colleen and youtube going hand in hand might be part of why he doesn't take it as seriously or want to return to it as much.

Is that what that means? And someone else noticed it went up the day we all put grannies and dead flowers in our accounts. Probably just a coincidence but the balloon is new.
