I personally can't stand the challenge videos...especially when they're not really "trending" or original any more. I get Josh was grasping for a video idea...but I'd honestly rather he just not post. I know this is a "love" thread so sorry Josh stans. I'm just disappointed I guess. I also hate when he uses overly sexual humor, especially when he's doing it towards his friend's girlfriend (Jenna) and his sister. Like...  . *sigh* I like Josh a lot, but not when he acts like a 12 year old. |

I only know OTT because someone mentioned it at the bakery once. I just was trying to be a hip cool kid.
And it's okay to be critical of Josh. If you ever want to vent about him there's also a gossip (not love) board for him.

After hearing his sound clip on twitter...I cannot WAIT to see the video. I sounded so good. It's such a beautiful song. I'm wondering how he will perform it. Also a little sad at the same time.

We all know likes to show his feelings through his music. Hoping the video and song means that he's trying to put himself out there again even tho he's still dealing with some bad feelings. His voice sounded sooo good, I'd really love to here him sing a song where he full on belts. I would swoon so hard 😂😘

I liked the suspense of figuring out who he was going on a date with. But I'm obsessed wirh Ed's original song and video so I'm always gonna love Ed's more. Been listening to his divide album for over two months straight 🙈🙈🙈🙈

But not even boyband in a good way. I liked his Shape Of You cover and I think that's the first of his music I have liked. But hey I give him props for doing what he loves. I'd love to hear something REALLY different. But that's like asking to get Lady Gaga out of Lana Del Rey. That's just not his style I guess. He's got his niche.

I don't listen to Ed Sheeran at all but omg I finally listened to Josh's cover and it was so nice!!! I can't compare it to the original but wow I loved this??? And normally I cringe at covers but this was actually good like actually good. Not even coming at this from a Josh stan standpoint, coming at it totally neutral since I usually hate when youtubers try to sing. Wow so good.

Honestly, the video for Perfect could have been better, but I still really enjoyed it. I really like how Josh's voice sounds with the song and it seems like a fitting song for him (not so much with his current situation, but in that he seems like a hopeless romantic and the song is along the same lines.)
Watching the video made me really hope that one day Josh finds someone who loves him just as much as he loves them. He has flaws, sure, but he genuinely seems like a great guy and I just want him to be happy and loved.
Also, it was a really subtle change, but I like how he changed the lyric from "I don't deserve this" to "We both deserve this" towards the end of the song.

I really really like his latest video!! It looks like he had a bit of a "secret smile" in his eyes. I think maybe Josh is back to Josh...and his real Josh, not any persona that had to fit a colin & co. mold.

Because I don't listen to the style of music Josh tends to cover, I usually feel his covers are better, especially when covering someone like Justin Bieber who I don't find very talented. Josh is a great singer. He could make a career out of it. I hope one day he's able to do something bigger.
But yeah I agree the music video was meh. I think maybe it was a little too simple and low budget. But I don't think it matters too much because the music was good and Josh did a good job showing emotion in the video.
