Erin manages to post two videos a week and have a full-time job. I think Josh could keep his YouTube on his once a week schedule and pursue other ventures (auditions, etc) too.

But I don't know, maybe it does take 40 hours a week to post a 3-7 minute one shot.

Kinda late to the discussion party - I caught the first part of the livestream when it was live, but had to step away less than halfway through, and now I'm going back to finish watching it. Noticed at around 42:19, he said that he "reads the sites" and I know he was referencing this one.

Josh's current life strategy appears to be straightforward: read the comments in the Garden and think like an entrepreneur.

I felt like at the end when he says he really cares about us and loves us he was talking about here. Lol. He mentioned all the wetness flowers and gave a wink to us.

When someone asked if he had fun at Juliens 24 hour stream, josh answered with "we showed up and we had fun" or whatever. Does anyone know who was with josh? Was it Erin? Or just a "non internet" friend?

Well...that livestream was a whole lotta nothing, as per usual. All Josh does is talk about or hint at things he's going to do, and then not do them. Been the same MO on rinse and repeat since the divorce, its getting old

Sounds like after the EP is done he's going to stop talking about it so much. We will see if that happens. I feel like if Colleen does announce her and Eriks relationship shit will go down.

I can't wait for Josh's EP. 😊 I'm hoping it'll come out sooner rather than later.

I think he said he is aiming for Sept 1 release.

I don't think colleen can ever come out with him without being caught, even if Josh says nothing. There are so many lies she has to navigate around at this point its like a web. A WEB OF LIES

I personally think Josh should do youtube but on the side. And I get why he is thinking about it money-wise, I genuinely do think he cares about his fans and he likes making videos but we also have to consider that this is his job and while he cares about his fans and stuff he also has to make money, and I just don't think he thinks he can do that because he is comparing himself to other youtubers, which I wish he would stop doing and just be himself. A lot of people tell him that they love his relaxed vlogs, because a lot of people don't wanna watch all of those insane, scripted vlogs. I truly enjoy the "boring" simple ones because I like seeing Josh being genuine and authentic and I like seeing how he is day to day. I really do hope he moves back to NYC and starts to do stuff there with YT on the side. As much as he has connections to LA with his friends, sister, etc. I think he will be happy there. Also, bring Shadow with you Josh!!

I agree! I hope he moves to NYC and pursues other things that make him happy, while also doing YouTube on the side. I'd be so sad to see him completely leave YouTube. Same! I agree 100%. I think this would be best for him.

One thing about the Live Stream I really liked is that he really seems to be genuine in his evaluation of his situation. He WAS part of this juggernaut of Colleen-related videos and was summarily ousted from all of that. It WAS his personal and professional life and I think that's a critical element in any observation/evaluation of Josh. He had several years with all of the overlap -- Colleen, Miranda Sings, Chris & Jess & Kids, Rachel, Teeny, Kory -- people he saw on a regular basis.

When I start to feel like, get over it, Josh, I think of that. He's mourning the loss of the obvious, as well as friendships and a lot of business.

There's a lot I'm curious about, although I suppose none of it will ever get addressed.

1. What really happened between Rebecca and Colleen -- we speculate it's Josh-related (i.e. she "warned" Josh of something)?

2. We understand he's estranged from the circle of the universe that is Colleen, but did it affect his relationships (which were "work"-related) with Shane, Mamrie, etc.?

3. What kind of advice has Jenna given him -- she makes one video a week and is so very likable she has no problem with views? I'm really curious if they have a friendship of their own and if she's advised him in terms of his career and Colleen.

4. Is he in any contact with any of the Ballingers or have all doors been closed to him? Does he want to?

5. Was he hurt that he wasn't encouraged to go to Vancouver for HBO, did he really want the part of Patrick? There was a time when Colleen hinted that they had a character in mind for Josh (albeit for YouTube, perhaps a foil to Miranda?)

6. Is part of the desire to move that he's physically surrounded by the possibility of running into them, in his personal life and in YouTube-related events?

Rachel had a five-min interview with Aubrey Plaza at a junket and it's related to "Ingrid Goes West," and it seems like she's getting exposure beyond YT (from manager/agent/publicist) as she walks the red carpet (with Christopher?? Where's Matt?).

If Rachel is expanding, that is something Josh could do -- I could see him doing on-the-carpet interviews for a web series. He is naturally very UN-snarky and his instinct is to be sweet. I wouldn't advise anything where he had to improv, but if he's got a camera person and a list of questions from his producer/editor he would do very well in that, I think.

He made reference to his gig on the cruise ship. I believe there is a six-month commitment to that and if he didn't have Shadow, I'd suggest he do it, it would be an opportunity to sing and person (which he mentioned on his LS that he loves) and be away from all of "this." He's not bound and obligated to Santa Barbara, great chance to do something like that.

Am I allowed to be lowkey freaking out about all of these tweets to us from Josh on twitter? 😂

Not a stan, but definitely cheering for him since Coll's bullshit with the divorce, but I love that he feels supported by us. Might sound crazy but I feel like I get support from the grannies and ack here, so I don't blame him.

Idk, remember he kept up a persona his entire vlogging relationship with Colleen. I think he could definitely get pretty far into it. but guys, your big brother is SO different to the aussie one. I was like "Wtf is this?" the first time i watched

I was surprised when I read that he was even considering because I never watched any foreign BB and ours is god awful. The worst people are in it. The. Worst.

I was hooked on British Love Island, imagine Josh there (if anyone know what it is, I only watched the second season and couldn't stop )
