Has anyone here ever had a tooth extraction? I had a tooth out last Tuesday (nearly 9 days ago) and it was a really traumatic extraction and I keep worrying I have dry socket which is where the blood clot that forms to help heal the gum is removed and bone is exposed and its meant to be the worst pain you can get in dental world
But I'm not in that much pain (I mean it twinges) but I just can't see the blood clot and it terrifies me 😭😭😭
I'm going dentist tomorrow but I'm so scared of infection
I've been using salt water religiously

(I went to the dr a little earlier than my check up too because I'd freaked myself out so bad and was convinced I had dry socket) everything was fine, even though I couldn't see the clot. They told me I would know for sure if I had dry socket because of the pain. I'm sure everything will be fine for ya! 😀 |

My sister has had a baby and also dry socket and she said dry socket is worse lol
So, I was terrified when I had my wisdom tooth extracted. I only drank smoothies and ate mashed potatoes for 10 days or so. I didn't get dry socket and I didn't have much pain at all.

Just wanted to post this here, today is my friends funeral who died in the Manchester bombing 5 weeks ago. He was the funniest and care free guy you could ever meet. He was a big corrie fan and he was off to America two days before he died
Wendy Williams posted about him the other week
Just wanted to post because it's all I'm thinking of today.
Sometimes when things like this happen it makes you think nothing else matters, all the little trivial things we get wound up about, doesn't matter anymore

Don't apologise, most of his family and friends are choosing to celebrate his life. His funeral today will be iconic and they're expecting thousands of people attending, it's an open invitation to anyone to come and say goodbye. Martyn always joked that when he dies he wants his funeral to be extra and be sent off like a diva so that's what his family have done.
I'm not at home or I'd have gone, he loved life and his family made a hashtag on twitter #bemoremartyn so it just means live life to the fullest
We followed each other on twitter for 6 or 7 years and we always made each other laugh. I met him once, but I still classed him as a friend as he was there for me.
I just wanted to pass on positivity and spread the message of love

My sister in law passed 3 years ago this August, leaving behind an adoring husband and twin 11 year old boys. The Harlem gospel choir sang this song at the service.
As clumsy as I might be at times in expressing empathy, my thoughts are with you today.
