Okay, I don't think anyone is actually going to care but I'm leaving here guys, everything has gotten too much and too intense! Anyway, I wasn't sure whether this warranted a new thread, so here this is: I thought it'd be cool if we talked about where our usernames derived from (if you're comfortable revealing that, of course!). I see some interesting ones on here, and I admit to being curious about some of them. I'll start, although admittedly, my username is dumb: whenever joining a place, I worry about trying to come up with a cool username, and never do, haha. "Meowstache" came out of nowhere, really, and it's just that it's a play on "Mustache" and also that I am quite the cat lady, so the "meow" bit seemed apt. She has a song called Nolita Fairytale. It's basically about her life living in NoLita, NY (north of Little Italy, hence No).
In the song there's a line that say "Nolita flat on rent control, that's the life I choose". I figured it was both a good enough and vague enough reference to the song, and I liked the sound of it. 👍🏻 I've used it for a while now.

I use mine everywhere, so if you google it you'll find it/me. Been using it for as long as I can remember. Came from way back in high school and one of my friends said "Bye Nicole! Hey that sounds like barnacle". Hence I kinda liked it and now use it on the net. Also its a play on the word using my own name obviously. Not terribly exciting!

We're expected to get between 10-20 but with tornadoes and I'm not here for this. Stay safe 💖 |

Wow...it's crazy in Texas right now. Hope y'all are safe. Where My house is it's on higher ground in the tomball-ish area and they haven't told us to evacuate and they said if you haven't been told to evacuate to stay inside. We are only having slight street flooding right now. My friend who lives in another neighborhood has water all the way up to her tree in her front yard already....my school district also canceled school for Monday and Tuesday. Be safe y'all. My neighborhood is mostly okay but you can't get in or get out.
I saw some pics and vids of the inner area of tomball And it's completely underwater. Be careful guys. Don't drive in water that looks higher. It's not worth it. Turn around a try to find another way. Or just stay home.
Praying for y'all.
EDIT: my gramma just got a call...they cancelled school for the whole week.

Okay it's getting pretty nasty so so now my gramma is having us pack a few days worth of clothes and were getting my dog and we are leaving to go to her brothers house in Henderson which is a 3 hour drive from here.
