The actor who played Jar Jar commented when the theory became big "Its good to finally have your work acknowledged" or something along those lines. Please do give the theory a chance though. There's a video of Lucas saying "Jar Jar is the key to all of this" in a making of video back in TPM days if that counts.

I think ackack said he will try, but he's just not that interested in episodes 1-3 to care. Not to put words in his mouth, but I doubt he is dismissive of the theory, more that he is dismissive of the prequels in general and therefore doesn't really want to have that deep of a dive into Jar Jar. Plus ackack isn't a "massive uber nerd of Star Wars" or a Star Wars Stan, as he said himself  |

Welp I'm done talking about Jar Jar lol. The only thing(s) I will say about the prequels is I had a crush on Obi Wan in the 2nd movie and Anakin in the third based on their hair alone... gotta love those long flowy locks. Also I love the fact that Kiera Knightly and Natalie Portman look so similar and that Kiera played Padme's handmaiden/lookalike and their mothers couldn't tell them apart when they were in costume and hair and makeup. Also I love that backless sunset dress she wears on Naboo in the 2nd one... if I could wear anything to a con, I would wear an exact replica of that dress. It's so beautiful.
