Been watching handmaids tale (though I'm a couple episodes behind since once should have come out today). Never read the book though.
Also have read all of Pretty Little Liars and have been watching the show, though I think two episodes behind on that as well 😂😂

I never read the PLL books. Are they worth it or has the TV show ruined me?

I never read the PLL books. Are they worth it or has the TV show ruined me? I just read the books like a year ago because I'd heard they were so different from the show beyond the first season. And they are. The story is WILD. I'd definitely recommend. I found it just as captivating. And a lot of books but fast read.

I always thought it'd be like the clique series (lifetime did an awful adaptation on that btw)

I read the Handmaid's Tale in high school and it's easily in my top 5. I'm obsessed with the show. I love the updates they did and how they made it different.
My only complaint is sometimes the pacing is weird and they like to use a contrasting depth of field a lot, but sometimes absolutely nothing is in focus and it's harsh on my eyes (sensitive eyes). That's minor though.
