As I was thinking this I also thought, who the hell IS Colleen? As an individual what does she love? What are her interests (other than herself?) She is such a chameleon that I don't even know. I thought musical theater but the Dear Evan Hanson thing squashed that and showed that she actually knows nothing about it. All these years she's been vlogging and we have no idea who she actually is, what she's passionate about, what her dreams or goals are. I'm so sick of her trying to emulate her fans and act like she's 15. Every day that goes by it gets sadder and sadder.

She's like Julia Roberts in runway bride. Just eating up whatever eggs the people around her like without even knowing what kind of eggs she really likes. It's sad.

I know it's been said a million times before but I think Miranda is a more accurate representation of Colleen's true self than her "real" YouTube persona. I don't think Colleen is anything like her YouTube self but she's fairly good at playing the game and knows she needs to give her fans what they want and tell them what they want to hear. That means crafting an upbeat, chipper, positive persona. Claiming to be into all the things her fans are into. Calling all her fans "friends" and professing that they're all special little snowflakes who mean the world to her. It's all just an act, and her fans eat it up while Colleen's laughing at them and counting her money.

'Things are starting to fall apart'. It's the title of the Bawlingers last vlog.

I get it, you get more views if you use a clickbait title, but isn't it a little disturbing when it comes to your family? Perhaps it's a freudian slip from disenchanted Chris.

Also, lol at Jessicrab pretending to be into GoT while not letting their kids watch TV. 

It makes me so irritated when parents set such double standards for the family. I never want to tell another parent what to do, but come on. Kids can't watch tv, have sugar, have a right to privacy. But "we as the parents can" because we are in charge.

Obviously kids need boundaries and rules but this makes it seem like they just want an army to boss around. Kids are meant to be an extension of you that you get to mold into awesome people. Not the worker ants that are the subject of your experiments.

Maybe it's just what the kids are doing, but I find it annoying how Colleen can't express a fondness for something/someone without making it seem romantic or sexual. "We're dating", "He's my boyfriend/girlfriend/wife". Like, gurl, platonic love is a thing that exists.
You can say you like someone without insinuating that you wanna bang them.

Colleen must have been peeing her Miranda pants when Liza came down the carpet and she got a picture with her. I wonder what that exchange was like.
It's funny I realized how Coal is really the only YouTuber (that I pay any mind to) who relies on collabs anymore. I feel like once the stupid challenge phase fizzled out people stopped doing it. Except Colleen. She's desperate and her channel can't survive without other famous faces. Even her fans keep bugging her to collab with someone.
I find it funny how in her latest vlog Colleen made mention yet again about how she's unsure if people will still watch her after HBO is over. It's so pathetic how she knows her channels are in deep shit, and she gives the "poor me" rants to her minions about how uncertain she is about her future. She thought HBO would be her big break but it seems like it was actually the final nail in the coffin of her career. And her personal life too.

Those parents are crazy. In the "He's Already Learning to Talk"  vlog you can SEE how pissed off Duncan was when his parents are were all over him. I cannot believe how hellbent Messica is on making him talk. Even babies need SOME space.

Literally it's so messed up how these kids are forced into the life of a performer from birth, and shared on the internet to millions of people whether they like it or not.

Babies/toddlers in movies are totally different. For small roles, no one will even find out their name. Even with stars like the good luck Charlie girl, there's a boundary between her show and her real actual life.

Completely agree (and finally popping my cherry here after following from all the forums before, haha). Weird example but it's what I love about the couple from "Fixer Upper" - they have four kids and a successful real estate/house flipping business and they don't even OWN a T.V. They focus on spending time with their kids doing things like having a farm, gardening, etc. 

Yes, there are certain things like drinking a glass of wine, or certain topics of conversations that are off-limits to kids. But it's horrible that Chris and Messica limit their children but live so extravagantly themselves. SELL YOUR FANCY COFFEE MAKER AND GET JACOB A BED.

She doesn't seem
to realize she can have mixed, nuanced feelings about something. It's either love or hate, "this rules" or "this sucks". I'm pretty sure she dislikes the taste of coffee but drinks it for the effects but she can't say that because it's one extreme or another with her.

I'm just counting down the days until they hit their teenage years and start rebelling. They have an "all or nothing" stance rather than setting healthy boundaries for the kids - some sugar, 1 hour of screen time, all the eggs, etc.  

I hope when the Ballinger kids grow up, they do like Christina Crawford and write a Mommy Dearest type book.
I can only imagine the things we don't know that go on when the camera is off.

I agree with the hurricane thing 100%. I feel like the whole "my wife" thing is to appeal to the young kids. She's making those weird, creepy comments. Who claims some random person to be their wife? I don't care if it is a joke to her. It's immature, irrelevant, and not needed when so much damage is being done to cities where SHE TOURS! Does she realize she won't be able to come to southeast Texas/Louisana for a while and make that sweet sweet Miranda cash?

Two things.

In Kory's new vlog he says that Colleen left her vlog camera in their uber on the way home from the VMAs and they didn't realize it till much later and then when they finally did, she sent Kory an hour away in the middle of the night to go fetch it for her. Bitch, get your own damn camera! It's your fault you left it!!

Also, Kory calls Game of Thrones "Games of Thrones". He says it at least 3 times. Some super fan! 🙄

From the footage I've seen so far, Coleen/Miranda looks SUPER nervous during her Ellen VMAs hosting thing. Can't wait to see where it falls on a scale of 1 to train wreck.

Now that that phrase jumps out, I notice how many people say it! It is such a throwaway. I used to say it too, but now I say everything but that.

I really wish Jessica and Chris wouldn't film themselves gorging themselves on date nights. Your kids "get" to watch those vlogs, and your basically rubbing the fact that you eat sugar where they can't have any. I have no problem with smart boundaries(I don't think what they do is qualified as smart) but if you must have the ice cream or chocolate eat it in private, if you can't possibly let your kids have any.

She doesn't give a flying fuck abt the hurricane bc she won't profit or get views from it...like she did with the Manchester attack. She's despicable.

Also, to any gardeners in Houston, you are deeply in my thoughts. I hope you and your families are safe.
