Yes I really felt like they were trying so hard not to touch and were leaning away from each other... there was definitely a weird vibe there that we both picked up on & interpreted differently

Yeah it was the facial expressions that gave it away to me...they were trying hard to hold back from beaming with adoration but it wasn't working. To me her facial expression was so different when she looked at Angela versus when she looked at him. But again I could be projecting; I don't know. I am usually not good at reading people.

Yes!! Hilarious we both commented on it at the same time! I'm watching it over again and I can see that now. Trying really hard not to look at each other too much too. Maybe that's why her voice seems so high pitch and loud? Like she's always like that, but it seems like even more so in this video. Maybe it's the nerves and not wanting to be found out?! 😂

So tell me if I'm reaching, buuut regarding Colleen's new Never Have I Ever video with Erik and Angela, I picked up on a few things that could possibly be hints that Colleen and Erik are in a relationship

1. Colleen was and giggly, more so than any of her other videos/collabs

2. Her and Angela seemed to talk the most during the video. This could be Erik and Colleen limiting their conversation to try and not give anything away?

***3. When Colleen would look at Erik, she looked at his mouth a lot and bit/licked her lips. Again I could be reaching, but she seemed very into him when he talked

4. In my opinion, Erik gave off a nervous vibe. Kind of quiet, sitting there taking it all in

In her vlog yesterday, she was squealing about how she was going to film a video with Angela and Erik and that she couldn't say anything yet. She acts so ridiculously over the top about everything, but to me she seemed genuinely excited and happy the way she lit up and didn't go over the top. I knew it had to do with Erik. Probably reading too much into it, but when she mentioned them she said Angela's name first as if saying Erik's name second will seem less suspicious. Erik is always awkward but there was definitely an extra layer of awkwardness as they're both trying to appear normal and not bursting with excitement that they're about to go on a boning tour of Europe.

Raise your hand if you're shocked Erik is going to Europe with her??

See? Just because Colleen sings a sad love song doesn't mean Erik's over her. Remember, Colleen's next level needy and codependent. If she sings about being abandoned and unloved it might just mean Erik has gone to the store for five minutes.

I know it's a hard pill to swallow, but these two crazy kids might actually care a lot about eachother.

I have a feeling in the next 6 months (or sooner? Maybe around the holidays?) there will be some sort of reveal about Erik: I have a feeling they maybe had a friends with benefits type thing and were trying to see if it would be legit?? Idk. I just keep wondering what everything will be a year from now: couple-y videos together and it all or does he not want anything public??? It's hard to picture Erik and Colleen doing cutesy vlogmas videos and couple videos but I feel like it's heading that way...who knows. But I definitely think Erik is creeped the fuck out by the Ballinger cult, how could any somewhat normal person not be??? Which is why I think he wants to keep things more casual, less full on relationship.

Agreed--David and Liza are delusional if they think they're anything approaching "household names." I had never heard of them til a few months ago (not that I am part of that demographic, but still).

With almost 11.5 million subscribers and some acting credits that are not self-created Liza is definitely closer to a household name that Colleen. I think a lot of older people are unaware of YouTube as anything more than somewhere to watch funny cat videos.

Certainly none of my friends watch YouTubers.
You can tell that the concept of YouTube celebrity is foreign to most people when you see them on mainstream tv and no one much knows who or what the are. That will change I think but it will take time.

In my opinion it's sometimes weird to think about how they're not together anymore. Idk if it's just me or my former 6th grade joshleen shipper coming out, but sometimes I'm like woah they're divorced

I just don't see Colleen ever really letting Josh go. Well, maybe 10 years from now. I see her as so psycho and needy that as soon as she senses he is pulling away in a real way, she will find a way to hook him back in...emotionally.

These songs might be part of that.

The Ballingers get on my last nerve, but Jessica is pretty and sometimes is downright beautiful. I hate to agree with Chris. LOL.

I think every time he has said how pretty she looks, she ends up pregnant.  (I'm just being a dick.) 

I never got into Josh and Colleen, they always had a weird energy and Josh always seemed way more into her than she was him. But Colleen and Erik... idk, if Colleen can ever tone it down and act her age I think they'll actually be cute together.

I don't think the likelihood that Colleen and Erik won't be a YouTube couple is gonna be that big of a deal breaker. I mean, Matt stays out of Rachel's vlogs and their relationship seems pretty solid. It might actually be good for them to have their relationship happen (mostly) in private, so they're doing stuff with each other because they want to, not just doing it for the vlogs or the 'gram. I think Erik can understand that YouTube is Colleen's job and her lifestyle and the fandom is part of it, and I think Colleen can respect Erik's desire for privacy. I think they can make it work.

I agree that Angela does seem very sweet and Erik seems likable enough when he actually shows a personality. He seems like a polar opposite of Josh, so I can't really imagine him and Coal having the same type of relationship. Anyone else think they're preparing the "We fell in love touring Europe's narrative? Another reachy theory I have is that her decline in YT interest may be related to Erik as well. He doesn't seem like the type to be interested in that life and if they're involved and quite serious, maybe her desperastion to keep him around is making her seek out other professions that dont involve plastering her personal life all over the internet.

Here's my take. I don't think Colleen and Erik seemed very comfortable around each other. I mean, based on the fact that he was at that cabin last winter with Colleen and Rachel & Matt, I think something may have happened back then, but then they dialed it back. But I'm wondering/betting that the Europe trip will change that.

I could definitely see Colleen leaning on Kory a lot after the divorce and then kinda ditching him once she got with Erik. She probably spent most of her spare time with him meanwhile going on and on about Kory being her ride or die BFF etc, etc. That probably caused him to have a fair bit of resentment towards her.

Erik gets a free all expense paid trip to Europe ( which he makes sure he says he's never been to) and Toe is probably paying him too. I think as soon as this trip is over, he'll hardcore ghost her. I get the vibe that while toe is all gaga about him, the feeling is far from mutual. JMO
Angela and her family get a free trip too.. Basically because she's a beard for why Toe is taking Erik.
Toe is gonna be on a high during Europe and then a crying mess the moment Erik's gone.
Has she mentioned if the 80000 members of BallClingerOners are joining her on tour? I know crab woman has her heart set on going to Europe. And on toeleen's dime. I imagine crabby's head would explode if Toe wanted to be more alone with Erik and didn't want to have to incorporate family into that part of the tour.

Kory may just not be around because he's been sick. I saw that Rachel has to fill in for him being Miranda's assistant.
