It's a shame Josh was so blindsided and hurt by the divorce and it caused so much animosity between him and Colleen. They seemed to really get along. A lot of people's marriages don't work out but they can remain on good terms or even stay friends.
Edit: I try to stay neutral on the topic of possible infidelity. For the purpose of this post I'm leaning towards the "maybe it didn't happen" side even though I know it COULD have happened, so don't come for me "COLLEEN IS A CHEATING, LYING WHORE" people, please.

A lot of people's marriages don't work out but they can remain on good terms or even stay friends. I agree that it's a shame there is the animosity, but I truly believe it's for the best for Josh. I had a very similar experience that Josh has had. Colleen is very narcissistic; and so was my ex. I was absolutely devastated by the things that occurred right at the end and then subsequently what played out (i.e. : there was cheating; a 180 degree of everything that once was; and more that I won't get into because [DAMN!] it's not about me). Josh (hopefully) will realize that he has been blessed with a freedom that will bring insight and even more growth than he has seen now. The time with Colleen can be a very learned situation for him and he'll take that into his independent, individual life and then further. I was never a Josh fan, but became one when he uploaded/posted the video, "I'm Not Okay". He was genuine and put his vulnerability on publicity. I related, but also found the value in his honesty. Colleen is toxic. I believe she knows just what she is doing (manipulation) in her work, with family, friends (Kory), therapist (if she still has them). I would never want a friend like her. And if she were family, I'd keep my distance. Obviously, TLDR; point being; I believe whatever happened in the end period for them was so volatile that Josh not having contact with her, or family is for the better. (It might not seem that way at first, but eventually that road is where you are led to and it is so much a clearer thoroughfare than what was before.) /done |

Whatever happened to Rachel's truck? She seemed to stop driving it after Colleen busted it all up. Maybe Matt drives it and Rachel takes his car, but she used to be all gushy about it. Maybe it's easier for Blaze to jump into a car than a truck. He sure got big FAST! She's driven Blaze in it when she goes to Santa Barbara to fit the crate in the back. I can't remember the vlogs, but at least twice. LA traffic is so bad that I wouldn't doubt that it was never meant to be a primary commute vehicle, but for doing other things. My parents have his and hers car and truck so maybe projecting here. Rachel is documented to be the practical outlier of the Ballingers. |

I just watched her vlog. I agree with everyone here. Those outfits would look better with a little more weight on her and the proper size. And FFS get a stylist. I was reading the comments and girl is gonna look like a hot mess. Those kids don't know what she should be wearing. Much less what "casual event" wear should look like. Also watch out Tusky. Josh is back in NYC. I hope he makes the most out of his time there and has fun. He seems happy whenever he is there. Despite what all he has been through, he seems like a more confident person than Colleen ever will be. He should be looked at as a positive role model. I hope he later on spills the tea shares some details about what life was like married to Colleen. If he even helps one person who's in a toxic relationship open their eyes, it will be great ❤️

Crazy Theory: I've noticed that on Netflix original series a lot of the shows use the same actors that they kinda swap around, I mean even Erik was on HBO and Girlboss. Do you suppose Colleen made enough of an impression on the Netflix people that they're putting her on a different Netflix show? Maybe her project doesn't involve YouTube or Miranda at all. |

Jessica just directed Bailey to tell us they're going to see Jojo on tour. I miss Bailey getting to be natural. She looked so uncomfortable to me, it's an Insta vid that will disappear later.

It got me thinking about how sad it is that kids like the ballingers will be over looked because they seemingly look happy. There is nothing ok with exploiting your children, offering your baby up for dms and forcing your kid to read scripts.

I skipped through that family vlog because it was boring. However I did see a snippet of when they went to dinner and Bailey failed to perform on the spot and Christopher said "Bailey's reading a book, I have to teach her some manners".
Maybe Bailey was bored because you and your friend were reminiscing about your tedious unfunny videos that you used to make together, Jacob and the other little boy were talking, and she had no one to interact with.
Maybe Bailey would like a few minutes to not be on the spot for your exploitation.
Maybe Bailey just needed some time to herself after a busy day at the planetarium with a bunch of other kids.
Parker, Dunkinstein and Jessica were conspicuous by their absence.
Surely Chris could have enjoyed some time with his friend without vlogging, I'm sure he had plenty from the day.
And for crying out loud, could he have got through a vlog without publicly shaming one of his children?

I thought it was weird to vlog the dinner, he said his friend drove a ways to be there and doesn't seem to be a vlogger so it seems inappropriate or at least disingenuous. I would be a little frustrated if I drove out to see an old friend and they were talking to a camera some of the time. I feel like it would be exhausting to be constantly filming your life and be taxing on relationships outside the youtube community but I guess that's the price they pay. |
