It's terrifying to me that randomer is the same age as my younger sister... they're growing up so fast. I echo the above statements: you're quite mature for your age but let us know if we ever ge tot be too much, we don't want you to be uncomfortable! Also, to keep this On Topic: Colleen sucks. I hate her "damn henny" tweet. Funny how when she's editing in Vancouver she'll snapchat, tweet and instagram all the live long day but when she's "working" back in LA, nothing. What, or rather who, could she hiding?

Also I love how Chris felt the need to write on the screen "The kids are NOT anemic!" after their terrible diet got criticized on here. Kindof like the pizza comment "You guys have 2 huge pizzas, and another's coming! We want you to be full!" Lol. A few days later they are eating plain oatmeal for breakfast. I can't imagine living my whole life to please a bunch of STRANGERS on the internet. These people clearly had an extremely fucked up childhood and now crave attention and validation from anyone and everyone. They are so dysfunctional.

This American had to google Luddite. Also I skimmed the b family's latest vlog and found it interesting Jessica gave their height statistics but not their weight... I imagine they're fairly underweight. She mentioned the day before she was going to see if any of them could be graduated out of booster seats (never known anyone that needed a Dr to tell them that, but OKAYYYY..) Odd that Bailey is almost 10 & still has to be in one. Also, I thought it was strange they were checked for anemia. Is that a thing that is regularly checked elsewhere? My kids have NEVER had that done, which made me think the doctor may be concerned about their diet. Same with the urine test.. what was that about??

Anyone else miss the days when Jessica wasn't part of the vlogging? Back when they were a cute vlogging family capturing sweet memories of their kids? When all you'd get was quick glimpses of her or hear her annoying fake laugh in the background. What happened? She's constantly yapping & cackling at her own "jokes". She orchestrates those kids on-screen time to a T. I imagine she was in the car with Duncan when Parker couldn't come up with a super hero name, because otherwise he'd have known his line.
Whoever on here called her a stage mom awhile back was so right! I also feel like she demanded the office & Chris got the literal hole in the wall because SHE is running the business. Notice I say business NOT family. Chris is just the editor now. She's the one hounding companies for sponsorships, promos & appearance opportunities, I have no doubt. I also noticed in, I believe the 4th of July video? she made a comment about her putting in the "I card" - I think she may do all the back end work of their videos.
I bet you anything she reminds him constantly that SHE brings in the bacon. He is just the grunt-worker. Just a theory, but I'd put money on it!

My kids have NEVER had that done, which made me think the doctor may be concerned about their diet. Same with the urine test.. what was that about?? The doctor probably looked at the circles under their eyes and their pale, sickly little bodies and ordered all the tests. My kids have only been to the doctor a few times other than when they had their vaccinations (after the infant check ups). But they are well fed, healthy and strong, aside from the occasional cold. As far as the booster seat thing goes, when they are too tall for a car seat they move to a booster. Here they have to be in a booster until they are 4'9" tall or 9 years old. However, we asked at a car seat clinic the police were running, and they recommended my daughter be in one longer. The reason is that they should be in a booster until their knees bend properly over the edge of the seat and their legs hang straight down. Because the bucket seats in our van are quite deep. my daughter was in a booster until she was almost 10, and she's quite tall (11 1/2 and she's 5' tall now) Kids 12 and under should always be in the back seat (Transport Canada guidelines, idk what the US does) front seat airbags can injure children if they go off.

We don't see everything they eat (I hope). And yes, my nephew regularly gets checked for anemia in office. Actually, I do too. "Current California Law: Children under 2 years of age shall ride in a rear-facing car seat unless the child weighs 40 or more pounds OR is 40 or more inches tall. The child shall be secured in a manner that complies with the height and weight limits specified by the manufacturer of the car seat. (California Vehicle Code Section 27360.) βChildren under the age of 8 must be secured in a car seat or booster seat in the back seat. Children who are 8 years of age OR have reached 4β9β in height may be secured by a booster seat, but at a minimum must be secured by a safety belt. (California Vehicle Code Section 27363.) Passengers who are 16 years of age and over are subject to California's Mandatory Seat Belt law."

The laws are a bit different here I believe, You can have either or. but bailey seems very tall for her age. She doesn't look like she needs a booster seat.

American pediatricians do an annual finger prick for anemia as part of annual checkup. I had it done when I was a little and my son did too. Its kinda like getting adults getting blood drawn for their annual physical.

It's funny how Chris and Jessica have let YouTube fame go to their heads and seem to think they're Jay Z and Beyonce and they live this fabulous, jetsetting, A-List life, meanwhile their house is a pigsty(I'm the messiest person on Earth but if I knew hundreds of thousands of people would see my place I'd tidy up a little), their kids are dishevelled and possibly malnourished and they're constantly begging for handouts. They're ridiculous. I wish people's YouTube channels could get cancelled* like regular tv shows *I mean I know you could get removed if you made videos of torturing small animals** or whatever, but you know what I mean **Come to think of it that's kinda what Chris and Jessica are doing...

Someone needs to tell the doctors in my town then, because I'm an American & only ever been checked for anemia while pregnant & when I've had blood drawn on top of the rest of the blood panel results & my children never had, except as newborns.

Then again when it comes to free stuff maybe she doesn't hold back I'd have to go back & look to verify, but I'm pretty sure when Legoland "ruined" Jacob's birthday & "Disney came to the rescue" last year, Jessica said she was the one dealing with those emails. That & her tweets hinting to furniture & hotels, all coming from Jessica's accounts, makes me think she's the one dealing with that stuff. But who knows, she seems too lazy to do any work at all.. but.. if it includes a chair.. she may be game. π

I wish I could remember which vlog this was in but I honestly have no idea (sorry!) but I remember once Chris explained that Jessica does handle all the business aspects of the channel. He specifically mentioned sponsors and events (e.g. vidcon) if I'm remembering correctly which I think I am.

Just thought I would share some perspective as someone who is healthy and health conscious, but always a bit underweight: I can sort of relate to the the Ballinger kids as far as weight is concerned, except, I know I was better fed growing up than they are. But I feel an odd sympathy toward them maybe, because I know how it is when people notice you looking underweight. I was just like that when I was little. π My mom is a nutritionist, too, and I had an extremely healthy diet, (nothing crazy or bonkers - and I'm not vegan or vegetarian or eat air for a living π) but my metabolism is crazy high. I am 24 now, and my metabolic age is 12 years old. I weigh about 107lbs, but when I was a full time dancer and did intensive workouts several hours a week, I was able to get to 115lbs. I don't look unhealthy, but my arms and waist are very thin, and I am over 5'7 in height, so people are always pointing out that I look like I need to eat or that I'm skinny, and it can be very frustrating because I do try to gain weight; I'm starting workouts again to get toned so people won't keep harping on me about it. But being on the frail-looking side is definitely humiliating sometimes because people always think you have an eating disorder.
